Deliberate anti-social activity including personal insults, profanity, pornography, racism, threats and purposely inflammatory posts may result in suspension of forum access or possibly a permanent ban from GSR.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

With honorable mentions to burque, and kerrfunk, and jedz, I join the landslide for Rich and the horse Sassass

..if I know anything about them it's that the one on the right is about to poop.

..Rich and the horse Sassass

Hmm.... good points.

The image stands tall on its visual quality alone but now that it has been mentioned maybe there is meaning in it, some kind of symbolism?

Did Rich wait for the right moment to make a statement to his viewers?

Is the horse conveying his regard for Rich or his classic mc?

Well done Rich, its a good picture and makes me think, however poorly. :)

Um, yeah. I was just thinking 3 out of 4 ain?t bad. More later.

Ok, so, I was riding through an area near home on a road I?d never ridden on before. The whole area is nothing but the prettiest Amish and Mennonite farms you?ve ever seen. I had a vague idea of what I wanted for a B&W image. This group of what I believe are some type of draft horse were chilling in the shade next to this fence as I rode by. Something clicked in my head and I turned the bike around. They mostly posed for me but not for very long. The one on the right wasn?t interested. Besides converting to monotone, I also mildly adjusted some other levels, using the fairly rudimentary adjustments in Photos on my Mac. Here?s the sequence of pics. The scene broke up within about 10 seconds.

I did not have anything to enter this week but Jedz struck a chord for me with his "Snow on the Windjammer" shot. It was scenes like it that motivated my moving to Florida a half century ago.
...

Chiming in a bit late but Cowboy's curious horses just does it for me.

I’ll help Bob out with the Saturday morning tally time:

Burque with 1 vote
Jedz gets 3 votes
And the winner by a landslide is Rich with 8 votes (a possible 9th but we would have to wait for Sandy to chime back in)

If someone could confirm please?

I want to get a new theme out early so not gonna wait for the final tally. Thanks for all the votes, guys. Just realized I forgot to vote. Would have been Jedz123. :)

I?m sticking with animals, or critters, creatures, any member or members of the animal kingdom, and at least part of your bike, of course:

like the snake I didn?t run over last week.

They realised almost immediately you had no apples for them and were of no further interest.
Horses, they're so shallow.

Well, I guess since I didn’t specify that the critter must be alive/not fake/non fictional, I’ll have to allow that, Bob. Haha;)
