I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Returning Visitors
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I suppose we only saw the cropped image we would not be able determine if it was a pano or not, unless we had some prior knowledge of the scene/area you were at.
I gather that you understand, but let me describe it this way if anybody else is pondering the situation:
I suppose the definition of panographic would be one image that shows what it to the left and what is ahead and what is to the right (and maybe what is behind), all in one image, more than what can be taken in one normal photo.
As Bob baatfam has mentioned, One way to do this it to take multiple shots looking in different directions, then stitch them together somehow (is software utilitys to do that). Or some cameras (smart phones) have a mode to do that, just hit the button and turn camera from one side to the other(is an aid on the screen to help keep it level).
IrfanView is a free photo editing software that can put together a panorama.

I would think you have that right without calling for it. Seems that only problem would be if you changed it after someone has voted for it.

Here is when I tried it again.
This time I was a bit back from the bike.
The road in this area is actually straight.
(note: this is early morning of the first day the road was closed for construction but had not started yet.)
THis is about the best I could do to show the vastness of the beach-road with a regular shot.
Just so that you can laugh at me:
I know the pano is suppose to be made by turning-panning-rotating the camera from one direction to the other direction.
But I also tried it by holding the camera in same direction and me walking along parrallell to the side of a barn. Worked fairly well, but not when I went past the bike that was closer to me than was the barn.

That's been my experience too - I have tried to use it but it never turns out as a smooth picture so I stopped trying.
I was trying out some panoramic shots while walking the dog earlier. I can do it, but the key will be to see if I can find a well lit and appealing, or at least not cluttered and ugly background that's fairly close. I'm certainly going to make an effort to try.
I used my video head on my tripod, so I could slid the camera back and rotate around the focus point of the lens.
Seem to help a lot, only a couple of stitching errors using On1, probably because I didn't overlap enough. (From what I read, 30% is the minimum overlap.)
These are not entries:
Camera on tripod....Need to figure how to strap that to the bike.
And my garage....I can spot at least three stitching errors...

Camera vertical....? Because that what do with smart phone for pano....? I would think that not need to apply to using a camera.
When you saw the resulting image...?

Pano's are usually shot with the camera in " Portrait " mode. Otherwise you end up with a long thin strip without details of the upper and lower areas. I've done it both ways but portrait mode adds more detail to the picture.....
The post in itself was hilarious... The picture just was so especially bad I was crying. I think impart was a software issue for look at how uneven the roof is then the Bike was just totally screwed up... Ugh I'm crying.
Definitely vertical....First time I did it vertical, it was like "doh," of course....
My GX8 has a resolution of 5184 x 3888. If I shoot multiple shots in landscape, the picture is only 3888 pixels tall. If I shoot more pictures in portrait, the pano is 5184 pixels tall. Much more to work with.

You don't need to take multiple shots to get a wide angle panorama view, I had a wide-angled lens here on this digital camera...
Unless the challenge is limited to a multi shot panorama... And then I'm out at that point.

So I give you the Old School Panoramic in my garage. The left and right edges of the composition are opposite corners of the garage, the traffic light is in the corner between the opposites, and I'm standing near the corner opposite the traffic light.
Here's my garage.
Some explanations.
Behind my leaking bike is the old church sign. My church sign was hit by a car in March 2018, and when we replaced it with a new LED sign, I kept the old one.
There's a couple odds and ends inside the white cabinet, and there are routes written on painter's tape stuck to the cabinet doors, in case I want to ride those routes again.
My uncle gave me the traffic light, and I plugged it in to the garage door opener so that when the garage door opener light is on, the traffic light is on.
"Brady Hardware" was the downtown mom-and-pop hardware store around the block from me, early 1900s to maybe 1980. The building owner was throwing the sign out (what?!) and I rescued it. I have not tested its lighting guts, but it looks nice. I have an old helmet on the third r (held up by a bowling pin). On top of the second D is my grandfather's electric drill, and on top of the second r is my dad's "housecall" bag (he's a retired physician). There's other knickknacks on the other letters.
I rescued a carpet from the alley Dumpster one day because why not.
This summer I took all the balusters off a deck and replaced them with steel cable. Kept the balusters because again, why not. They're behind the utility truck.
My uncle also gave me a few mahogany beams. One is upright on the left, and the other is above the utility truck, atop two terra cotta heads.
Behind the trashcan in the corner is a 3' by 3' plastic L from an old FoodLion sign or something.
