A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Look like the CVs off my 82 1100..and man you really scored..355 bucks..that dude was the most generous dude on earth!!

Looking at your great, detailed pics, I'd have to say that they're not NOS, for instance, the shot of the main jet shows where a screwdriver has bit into the brass, and unless the float bowl screws were boogered by you, of course unintentionally, when you took the bowls off to look inside, they've been worked on and cleaned. Also there's a bit if dirt showing on at least one of the bodies-so- sorry, don't think they're NOS.

Also sorry I can't answer your basic question, I'm sure somebody can on here. Look forward to the other stuff in your eBay Store.

They are flatslide CVs, probably GSXR. You should measure the ID throat size, that will help identify them. GS 1100 and 1150 had roundslide CVs. These are good carbs, which can work on GS bikes (with proper jetting). There are high performance CR flatslides (non-CV) which are much more valuable. There are a lot of CV flatslides at salvage yards, going from $100-$200 in good shape. I think there is a 38mm GSXR750 flatslide that is more sought after.

They are BST34SS (34mm)
There are also BST36SS (36mm) ,BST38SS (38mm) and BST40SS (40mm)

The BST34mm have a flat (rectangular) metal slide while the 36,38,40 are all black ceramic

normally you could check the numbers on the side of the carbs and ID the exact model from looking in the manual if they are GSXR; I dont see any on yours.

See if they match the parts fiche for the 1st gen (85-87) GSXR 750 or (86-88) GSXR 1100
