My wife is crazy about sunflowers. I stopped the other day after work and pulled several from the road side, roots and all, and tried to rehome them in our garden. Eight hours later they were toast. Literally, it's much warmer in Albuquerque than Edgewood where I pulled them, 30 miles East of town.
I think the green thumb skips a generation. My dad can grow darn near anything. Always asking me if I want peppers or tomatos or chiles or rhubarb.
Gustovh, is that stone arrangement under the sunflower marking a resting place for a family pet?
