    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is to be used by folks who sell parts or services for GS series motorcycles regularly, or as a business.

If you are interested in providing parts and/or service to GSResource members it is expected that you will 1) keep customers informed on the status of their order, 2) you will reply to customer emails and PM's in a timely manner, 3) you provide what is agreed to in a timely manner. If personal circumstances prevent you from doing this, then you are expected to inform the customer before any transaction takes place. Failure to follow these basic business rules will force me to ban your forum account and list you in the Deadbeat forum.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I thought I would expand a bit on what this forum is for...

The intention was to create a new forum for members who REGULARLY sell GS parts or provide a GS repair service. If you are just selling some parts that you have laying around, then post your items in one of the appropriate For Sale forums. If you post here listing parts and you don't do so regularly, then your post will be deleted. The forum for selling an occasional part is the For Sale-Parts, Misc in the Classified section.

If you a GS member and do it as a business, then it belongs here. If you happen to find an outside vendor who provides parts or services for GS's that you found good to work with then you can list them here also. This isn't the place for eBay or Craiglist listings however since they tend to be too transient. If you have any questions then PM me before posting here.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Soooo, don't sell items to other enthuseist that pertain directly to their bike because we don't post often??? That's absolutely ridiculous and dam glad I go ride of my GS money pit but hey I now of better places to sell. Just figured Id give the GS fans first dibs. what ever. Do me a favor and remove me from your forum to. I get having ads moderated but really because I don't post enough? Illogical thinking isn't just rampet in the real world I guess.

If you are running a side business (which is what this forum is for), then I expect that you were participating in these forums to some extent. It allows people to determine whether you are trustworthy or not. Setting up a forum account and posting once is a common tactic of spammers.
