Charmayne and I installed new rear wheel bearings on her bike today.

Although they feel like they are seated, the bearing in the sprocket cover won't seat properly when installed to the wheel and comes out to the edge when the spacer inside the carrier pushes against it:

I'm thinking the bearing on the left side of the wheel might not be seated as well as we think and hoped for another set of eyes. Does this look like it's seated to anyone?

If it's not, does anyone have a suggestion as to what size socket I can use to finish it off (saw the suggestion in a search but not the size)? Someone Steve knows suggested 1 1/4" socket but I don't have one and am not sure if that's the right size.
