If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Riding Game

I think I may get this one too. I may be west coast, but I'm usually up at 4:45 and riding to work...

Something to get you out earlier....a sunrise in any setting. Has to be fairly close to the horizon, so no late sleeper 10am sunrises, unless it's coming up over the mountain!
.
.

And will there be any photographic evidence that it is not a sunset...?

You've got a point, but the whole game is on the honor system and in good fun, so post a sunset pic in as a sunrise if you want to....but the morning dew or mist will be hard to photoshop in! :)

Here we have 7am, a view facing east.
Morning mist.
Morning dew.
Morning coffee also.
But no sunrize, too much Michigan overcast.

Close but no cigar.

Ordinarily I'd say there must be a sun behind those clouds and move on to the next tag, but I want people to work harder on this because this time of day is the best for a peaceful ride and clearing your head. The sun is everywhere so anybody across the globe can get themselves out for the sunrise. I'd love to see a beautiful sunrise somewhere. Mine wasn't even nice, so somebody must have a more scenic one.

NOTE: Maybe I'll offer a little temporary twist in the game for this tag only....Post up your bike and a sunrise and when we get three different continents sunrise pics we'll move on to the next tag.

Good idea, the variable of the cloud/fog condition helped cover the time zone advantage that some of us had.

And I fully admit that my photo entry above did not all meet the requirements.

I like the idea of a 24 hour delay, or multiple contenent delay, to allow folks in other time zones a chance. Can select the first, or maybe the one with best sunrize color display. (Although the best color display will probably be a sunset.) Or the one that most seems to be a sunrize and not a sunset.

Dave

>>>later note
ew, ew, I just thought of a better place for sunrize photo .... tommorow.

Here, from November 2009 (I know, doesnt count)

At Lake Michigan.
Here in Michigan.
So, ah, er, um, isnt a sunrize, is a sunset.
Sunsets have more color in sky due to the humidity in the atmospere. I think the color in sunrizes is usally in the clouds.
I present this photo, not at all for the qualifying for the tag, but just for the discussion of sunrise verse sunset.

Am expecting to see some sunrize photos from various parts of the world here.

Just checking in here, the next tag is a ... Sunrise? Really? Actually I think that is a brilliant tag, for indeed the sun is everywhere. Anyone CAN get out for a sunrise, but I'll take a pass on that one thanks much! :dancing::lol::lol::lol::dancing:Looking forward to some brave soul posting a nice tag though so I'll actually know what one LOOKS like.:D

Sunrise?
Uh. Nah. That's about 4 these days, and I'm jetlagged (the other way), so I'll skip that.
:)

6:45am. Cool (60 DegF) and quite.
View facing east
Morning dew
morning mist
overlooking Half of the Grand River (the trees you see are on an island in the river) from Mercury Drive.
THis is right next to the bridge to Potawatami Bayou. I was intending to go to that bridge but was a photograher there already. He was taking boring pictures of just the sunrize over the water.

and maybe 3 minutes later:

Well, it was quite, except for this

>> later note
Man, I was expecting to see some sunrizes from other continents by now.
Well, maybe will see some from other parts of westernhemishper today.

Then see what lurch says.

Nice pic, Redman...

Man-o-man...you guys have this game rockin'...

What's the next tag?

Excellent shots, Redman!
Let's see if 2 other people can get a sunrise shot before moving to the next tag, as a special consideration for enjoying each morning, eh?

Just missed one, in Anchorage last night, the sun set in the Northwest for a little while just before midnight and came back up in the Northeast a few hours later. It never got very dark, just one long red sunset/sunrise. Cool stuff. Didn't have a bike with me or time to take a picture.

Didn't understand we needed more than one pic to keep the game moving or I would have pushed the bike out in the drive at sunup for a shot...

Weekend is starting...let's get this riding game moving with the next tag.:D

We can start a pretty picture photo thread if we need one....;):p

I agree with Bob. It might be nice to have sunrises from other continents but I haven't seen too many Aussies or Brits playing with us yet so let's just move on.

Thanks CU...

Heading out now, tagless:p

Between the heat and rain, this is my first ride in over a week...
Want to get out before it gets hot....
