A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I think that's somebody's house, but ok whatever.

It's a converted barn. Lot's of people around here put wasted barn space to rental use.

Your tag so you make the ruling!

As self appointed riding game moderator, I may have to invoke the obscure 2 minute rule whereby the OP tag holder has 2 minutes from original challenge to confirm a disallowed tag. :p

Next tag is.....a seagull, or pigeon for you inland folks. See it by that little bush? Our game is reduced to stalking birds now. Living birds only.

We have seagulls inland too. And actually not too hard to find. Any Walmart parking lot is usually loaded with them.

Yeah, they travel a few extra miles for free food....besides, they think Lake Michigan is an ocean....and you can turn it into a useful trip while picking up a few items at Walmart.

The seagulls took a turn for the worse in 1963, the little monsters, after Alfred Hitchcock released his movie, The Birds. Now they're flying monkeys, packing up and swooping in on garbage, your lunch and small dogs and little children!!

Not sure what your definition of barn art is but here's one on the ride this afternoon with this person's touch. Let me know if it's ok and I have the next tag ready.

Oooooooooookay, whats for dinner tonight. It takes all kinds of critters to make Farmer Vinces fritters. :p

I've been peessing people off lately, so why not one more. It doesn't look like art to me, but it's not my call. I'm just some rube down south. Now if it was just organized a little, maybe. I've never been a big fan of abstract art.

Works for me.:)

Tweeked my back pushing my G up hill into the garage, last friday. Bathtubs, bullies, and some nasty Hamburger Helper:eek: last night, hasn't helped either. I just need to for a long ride on Suzy, but there's a lightening storm outside and her 34 year old starter is going out. So here I am getting in peoples faces and building my reputation.;) Besides where in the hell am I going to find a seagull in Florida!

On a better note, like the bike:cool:, you decided not to use the fairing?

Just go to ANY Wal Mart in America and you will find seagulls.
Seriously, I never saw a seagull in my entire county til Wally World moved in , and ....there they be, out in the middle of the country.
They must hide on the shipping containers that come over from China:eek::p

Our landfills are coverd with them. It's the closest thing we have to snow capped mountains.:lol::lol:

What happened that you couldn't ride it up??

Still using it, still working on the fairing, have to make my Plexiglas pattern next, then make mounting brackets, paint and assemble/install.

Must be the hilljack in me, I actually like the stuff:rolleyes:
No, I've been riding Suzy I lately and I think I have a battery drain. I traded my big block 460 and had to clear room in the garage to load it up in the guys truck. You don't do that kind of thing in my driveway.

I like Helper also, but that Stroganoff last night was funky. Something was off some how.:-& I've been paying for it all day.

I like it too. Used to be on the weekly menu here. But the older I get, the more I "pay" for it.

Old_skool, the bike looks great. How does she feel?

If the speedo is reading faster than you are actually going then your mileage will seem low. You will have less miles on odometer than what has actually gone under your tires.

Sorry, yes. I said that backwards. Just discovered the same problem on my stepdads yammy. He was complaining that he was only getting 30mpg. his speedo was slow by 10mph. so if speedo is reading 60, but you are actually doing 70, odometer will read less miles than you traveled. therefore throwing you mpg calculations off...

I have connected my fuel gauge wires backwards before and gotten very erratic readings. Just a thought, something to check...
