A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

A church with a belfry. This one was modeled after Danish ones of the 12th century. There are two model ships inside hanging from the ceiling which is traditional in Denmark. Unfortunately there was no one around so no pics.

The next tag is a marina. Or for you inlanders a jogging path. This one is called the sea wall in Coal harbour.

Good one Garth! I see rusty Seaspan scows in the background too! I met up with Trevor and we found a marina! This is the Oak Bay Marina where all of the snobs tie up their yachts and run up huge bar bills!

Next tag to follow shortly!:D

How were the fish and chips ? :)

This is one of my favourite joints in town. I swing by here every now and then and have their Oyster burger, truly awesome!:D The fries are so good I don't even use taste remover, er, I mean ketchup!;) Just a little salt and they're perfect.:)

(However, on this day we just stopped by for a photo):p

Just remember. It's all Photoshopped. There's really two feet of snow here ! We don't want to lose our rep...:D

I hope somebody else from Florida or California is playing. It's. FEBRUARY.!! :D
You have to realize that when you have your fairs up north, we don't.
This is the time of year they put up small events in parking lots to test for any defects and work the bugs out in the equipment. Free admisson to snowbirds and foreigners, so they can't complain if there are malfunctions. To make it easier, it doesn't have to be a ferris wheel. A merry-go-round, kiddie roller coaster, miniature train ride, bumper cars, any ride you normally associate with a fair will do.

There really is 2 feet of snow here...well a lot more with 15" more dropped yesterday. It's not the cold but the roads, with snow and ice, are impossible to safely ride with the bike so not much contribution to the game from me other than this morning's pix from my deck. Snowshoeing, not riding is the sport of the day here.

I knew someone had to have a permanent Ferris wheel somewhere. Good going Garth, but I might have to do a search on this one. The only track that I knew of, was Ben White Raceway, a harness track. They tore that down nearly a decade ago. Now it's a riding park and more softball fields. We have got to be the Softball capital of the world. I do know of a training track out in the sticks, but there are no stands. Maybe Eric or someone else can get this one. I've got a day of rain forcasted down here, so I'm out for atleast a day maybe two.

As the closest track to you is Tampa and apparently Nevada has none. Plus the fact there are few playing, I'll loosen the tag a bit. Any kind of race track. Horse, dog, car bike, whatever.....

I know of a horse training track near by, but I can also head to Orlando Speed World, New Symerna Speedway , Daytona International, Volusia County Speedway, Sebring, USA Speedway in Lakeland, another drag strip near OIA. Oh yeah, I almost forgot Disney has a track.;)

The gambling capital of the world doesn't have a horse track?

The weather here is looking like it will be an early spring, might actually get the T on the road by april.

I can't wait to get back in the game.
