A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Good tag! i was stationed at Ft Knox and loved that part of the country. There are some great riding roads around there.

Not as nice vantage point but a stop along my long commute today at the Suncook river. Btw Notz nice classic 750. Is that looking over Covington, KY?

retcol, Thanx ! My Aunt worked at Ft. Knox for many years.
You switched bikes in your pics, which one gets more attention @ bike nites?

lurch12_2000, I believe it's closer to Hebron than Covington, a little farther west and I could have captured Lawrenceburg, IN rather than KY in the pic. But they are all in within a few minutes on the back of a GS! :D

BTW - Nice bandit, I'm thinking that might be my next bike if I can find the right one. Great styling, punch and all the features I like.

Over by the airport. Years ago I lived in Beaverlick and would ride over to Big Bone Lick and up the river on the KY side....rts 338, 18 and 20?

Dead on. You know the area well then?
I have a friend in Rabbit Hash and another where 20 splits into 8 close to 275.
I think I'm gonna gear up and ride your route. Beautiful day and I always liked those river road routes, great scenery. Couple of hours to spare and just enough time to take Anderson's Ferry back across the Ohio to greet the Mrs when she gets home.
Thanx & CIAO!

Sometime this season we're going to overnight a trip to the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi rivers

Just sharing the river tag I had gotten. The Cuyahoga River. Indian for " crooked river" as the Cuyahoga is known for its meandering path. Also reported to be the only river in the only river in the world that travels both north and south. Some crap luke that. Lol
It starts up north near Lake Erie then travels 50 miles south to Akron Oh area, then turns and travels 50 miles back north and empties into Lake Erie.

Met some fisherman there who caught a few Northern Pike.

I'll bet that's a great place in the summertime to dangle a pole with a six pack beside you....:)
