    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Fantastic tag. Albuquerque has a cable car that climbs 5000 feet above the city. We'll see how soon I can get up there though
Maybe one of the other GSR members in this city could go grab it wink wink nudge nudge

Today found out that none of the many barbers here have the polethingy, nice hunting though;) This is a great game!

Did you see cyranno's cable car tag? Im just wondering because the new tag seems overlooked quite frequently. Maybe the way the posts load due to individual settings.

Sure did, but the game got me looking around none the less:)

And since I live on the flattest piece of earth I knew cable cars were not an option.

Gotcha! I know what you mean, I've been on the lookout for some of the passed tags with no luck. Even as Halloween aproaches, the casket tag a while back had me stumped! Thanks to gsrick's improvisation, the game stayed moving.
Im going to the mountain after lunch for a pic of our cable car.
 
What luck, this flight, as they call them, was landing as I pulled up. Here's the Tramway east of Albuquerque. Longest cable car in the world.


Here's its home


Right down the road from the Tramway is our ice skating rink. Yes, even in the desert you can ice skate if you'd like.



As i took this pic the manager walked out so had a great visit with him. He just had his hip replaced and was unable to ride his Honda Valkyrie. Very friendly guy. I inquired about the zamboni, if it ever comes outside to play. Not really, he said, but fresh air doesn't hurt.



What a great game. If you can find a zamboni, sweet! But the ice skating rink will suffice.

Probably one at each of the indoor rinks. For sure up at the X where the Wild play and at Mariucci arena where the Gophers play. Vikings t-shirt ? After today I could use it for a shop oil rag......:o

Oh, um, maybe a PM would have been better for that offer to bonanzadave.

Not to say that wouldn't be something worthy of a prize, no matter who or where though.

Just figured I'd bump this in hopes of someone finding an ice skating rink. Im headed out for a long ride tomorrow and would enjoy the search for whatever comes up next.
 
The nearest ice skating rink to me is in kissimmee, not a trip I want to take through tourism central to get there.

Ice skating isn't really a thing in Central Florida. Though a little play rink is sometimes put up in Downtown Disney. With the new parking garages I doubt I can get it in the background.

There is an ice factory on the way to class that is kind of off the beaten path.

None of you Canadians have any frozen over lakes or ponds yet you can run out to!?! Put those dual sports on! D:
 
Is it too taboo to get a similar tag years later? Just a quick glance back and there are other repeats, airplanes for one, movie or tv show set locations is another. There should be some statute of limitations, say 1 year or something. Theres the zamboni pic, how about that? Of course that may be like the pink bus the OP mentioned.
 
No, lots of them have been done many times. What should be taboo is changing the rules all the time.
