A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I don't know if this was ever done. I never see one posted anyway. Next tag is an easy one. Propane tank.

That is too funny. I saw a purple one on the way back form getting the snow tag. Almost went for it, if there wasn't a butt head on my tail at the time. There wasn't a good place to pull over to turn around. I know where it is, but it would have to wait till next weekend to get.

Got out just before the rain.

I think it has been a year or so for this one but the next tag is an outdoor clock.
Big or small, in a tower or not.
Photobucket is screwy right now.

I almost stopped at that clock last month with my wife. She's never been there. The last time I was there it must have been the early 80s. The folks stuffed me and my brothers in the back of the station wagon along one of my cousins on the hottest Sunday of the summer. Today's youth would call that abuse.

I wanna play too!....I'm going riding tomorrow and I know where there's a really big clock....

I don't know how you guys make your pictures so big...

By following what works. :-k

You have to host your pictures, many of us use Photobucket, but there are other sites available. Once you have it on the hosting site, start a thread here in one browser tab, have your hosting site in another. Start your post, go to the hosting site, select your picture, copy the link that has in it, then paste it in your thread. If you are going to post more than one, hit the ENTER key twice between the links to give a white border between the pictures.

giant clock....sun dial ...

I still can't figure out why I can't post a bigger picture :(...a double click on image does make it bigger.

2nd pic
I had a mountain shot but the glare from the setting sun made them invisible to the camera...
so I went to the other side of the bike and took a pic of the neighbourhood school...

Clicking on your picture shows it is coming from GS Resources. You are ATTACHING a picture, not LINKING to it.

Look at the directions I gave in post #8365.

You need to uncheck the box when posting the picture.

WHAT BOX??? There is nothing to check or uncheck. Host the picture (upload it) on ANOTHER site, not GSR. COPY the link to that picture that is given by that site. PASTE that link here. No boxes to check or uncheck, if you are clicking on boxes to "Insert Image", you are doing it wrong.

I was able to get out on the bike and head over to the school for a pic, as well as grab a new one. Photobucket still stinks and I'm trying to get flickr to work. Can't attach a document for some reason either. Shucks, I'm just SOL.
I'll try later on.

Not sure how but it worked!

To all of those having problems. I had issues lately with Photobucket where I had to enlarge the photo then just do a copy and paste to put it here. Even if you can't figure what to do, just do what your doing and the click on your thumbnail image to enlarge it, then do a copy and paste of the large image as I did with these. I can't rotate in GSR Roger, you've got to fix that in your host site before posting.

Ok, I'll try to fix it. I'll understand if my recent pics are disqualified for lack of preparedness. Like showing up for class with a rough draft of a report.

My question is ... 'where did the school get introduced?'

I thought the tag was a large clock. :-k

That obelisk might be part of a sundial, but it's not obvious from that angle.
Personally, unless there is an angle that shows it as a sundial, I say it's no good.

Wyly posted a schoolhouse as his second pic. Post#8367

If the clock is no good since it is really hard to tell what it is, then disregard my pics all together. At least I got out to ride before the rain. Its finally coming down really good here, yay!
