A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I've gotta get a better camera. Ya'll's pictures look so much better than mine. The S6's camera is probably pretty good but I think the waterproof case I'm using isn't helping any.

The S6 is what I'm using. Must be your case.

Last ride of the year because apparently winter is arriving tomorrow.
One of the small side theaters at the Shaw Festival in Niagara on the Lake.

Next up is a windmill.
Can be a big one like this one or bonus points if it is the 5th hole at your local mini-putt.

omg, Photobucket is being screwy AGAIN.

Dang Steve, that's a sweet looking Honda!

Winter arrived here, well sort of, last night. We had our first freeze. It actually hit 31 degrees but the days are still plenty warm. I'm going to have to cruise over to Putt Putt and see if there's a windmill. I doubt it, but gonna check anyway.

Well, there are no mini putt or elctricity generating windmills around here. There's some old school types like this one. Will that work?

If acceptable, here's the next tag. An electric car charging station.

I was going to take a picture of the next tag today... But the Snow made me scurry back home!!! I know where one is and if I don't get beat out I'll grab the TAG!!!

Would I be allowed to use the sockets in my workshop ? I have electric cars on charge there pretty much all the time these days - one there right now in fact. Not sure if I can get out to a public one for a few weeks. (Great tag by the way - I was thinking of it for when I got a chance to get back in the game)

You bet, that works!

Just get the bike in the pic too ;)

Now I know where to charge up locally if I ever get an electric car. Today's tag....

New tag is a Triumph motorcycle shop or dealer. You'll have to do your research to find, just like the EC car plug station. Give you an excuse to check out some cool bikes too.

I couldn't resist!

The bikes had all been put up and they were closing shop.

This should be easy enough to find this time of year. A tree all decked out for Christmas.

I wanted to wait for the lights to come on but then you couldn't see the bike.

Staying with the same theme, how about the ever popular:rolleyes:, inflatable yard decorations.

Making the best of what little daylight was left after work I made it to the fairgrounds. They call it Expo New Mexico now but the iron work on the gate still has the NMSF from the State Fairground name. Is that acceptable?

It got dark so options were getting slim for thenext tag. I found a backlit bilboard, led's I think, andanother with the sectional slats that turn to reveal different messages. If my fairground pic is accepted, either one of those two kinds of bilboards is the tag. An LED type or a rotating message type bilboard.

They're called tri face, Roger. I used to install them way back in the day when I worked construction and maintenance for Peterson Outdoor Advertising in Orlando. Nothing like hanging over the top and pulling 48 of those 18' tall panels up 50' or more, by rope/hook. Ah, those were the days. Some fool had the bright idea to install one on one of their super poles. Those puppies were 125' at the top.

Tri face huh? That's much easier to say than the sectional slats that turn to reveal different messages.

So, any tri faces or LED types in your neck of the woods?

Or maybe in another neck of a different woods someplace else??
