A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Woops I missed that post yesterday, sorry! Thaaaat's a bit of a stretch but I'll take it to keep the game moving (probably gets harder as fall sets in), and especially since I've been to Hot Dog Johnnies. What about that egg shack they have in back? I forget what that sign is made out of.

You can hardly swing a dead cat around here without you hit a weathered barn, but I will not step in unless other slackers fail to find one. I like that Pilsen sign too.

I just got word from partshark that my parts are on the way...maybe I can get back into this game soon...:)

OK, I'll get a barn picture today, but someone else will probably beat me to the post as I'll do it on my way to the gig practice I've got....:D

Ok, here's a barn, not weathered enough probably, they just repainted it..

Next tag-A country church with a belfry and steeple.:)

If no one has it by Saturday than I'm on it. I think I know where I can go and it will be a good long drive for me too. These are strictly country churches and nothing in town correct?

Well, a country church in a small (less than 800 pop) town will work as well.:) That's where this one is. Many closed up storefronts, not a lot left to the town, but the church is there.

Country church (steeple hidden by tree):

Next, a NEW barn (i was gonna do this if i snagged the "old, weathered barn" tag):

extra credit for a flock of geese.

it's gettin COLD out there!

Does the steeple have a belfry (bell tower with bell)? Of course, I have to take your word for it that it has a steeple:rolleyes:.............

yep, i was working nearby and actually heard it ring. forgot about the steeple business when taking picture cuz i was busy freezing.

Eli, I can't see your picture here at work but I'm assuming it's of a pretty new barn of within the last 20 years or so? Basically the new ones that look like they are made of the vinyl?

I will get it on the way home today then.

go for it. gotta get as many as we can before the snow falls. dern southerners will take over soon....

Here's a barn. Not as new as I really wanted but that one's owners aren't in town right now and I didn't feel right taking a picture without them here.

Here's the next tag...an informational sign that tells you to really think about stopping in the previous town (less than 500 feet back) for gas as nothing else exists for quite awhile. Doesn't matter the distance.

Haha, good one!
We are going out for a ride now, but I would have to travel half a day around here to find something like that...:D
I'll keep my eyes open anyway....;)

I don't think we have any of those signs in MN. There should be some, but there aren't.

So should I give this a few more days or go get a new one tomorrow when I ride the bike into work?
One more day. some of those other people in the western states where those signs are common should be able to find one. Or, I'll look in my 200+ photos and see if I took one of those pictures with my bike in it last month....:D

Well, I looked through all my trip pictures and in a lapsed moment, I apparently never took a picture of my bike under one of those "No services for 120 miles" signs.....
