A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Sadly I was on my bicycle when I took these. Just sharing photos of old houses....

This is my wifes Great x 4 Uncles house in Lanesboro, MN. He was kicked by a horse and died. His wife, Anna, sold the house to a doctor who turned it into a hospital. Later it was a B&B and now its privately owned.

Anna, my wifes Great x 4 Aunt, who was now a widow built a new house in town. This house is a B&B today.

We also visited my wifes family plot. Her GGGG Grandfather & Grandmother.
Thats some old stuff !!

Not really what I intended but in the spirit of getting out and riding it's a good tag especially with the weather the way its been lately:)

The jest of the game is to see the Tag and then go get it. No file photos.

I think what he meant was he has a nice NEW tag to use for next time when he gets someone elses tag. Probably not the way its intended but not the same as submitting a file photo for someone elses tag. I try to keep some ideas and just get a fresh pic when I get one of these.

Not sure what we got for police training around here... need to use google and do some stalking for that one.

oh man, sorry! i had in my head " old farmhouse, preferably a museum, and now i re-read it and see it was preferably over 200 years old :o

Seuadr, I think it's a good tag especially now that the weather IS turning for the year. The game will probably slow down some anyway so let's keep going for it.

Now since I rode into work today I wonder where I can find the training facility. Can't use the base cops for obvious reasons so...

K-9 training facility (Crappy pic :o)

I could not help but notice what looks to be a voltmeter on your upper tripple handlebar mount and have to ask how you like it, is it waterproof? Would you recommend it?

Its a piece-of-crap. NOT waterproof. Cheap - $25. The wire is junk. Re-wire it with some 22759/16-22.

Yes ! I recommend it. After my RR crapped out I got a Duane unit and that Voltmeter. Its great to see 14.5 vdc and know your battery is charging.

Digital 5-Function Volt Meter

ps wacky: stop looking so close at my beater.

very unusually shaped tree. NO NORMAL TREES has to be weird.

this is what we call the horseshoe tree

Based on what I can see in the picture can I assume it doesnt have to be alive just standing?

I have a Tim Burton Tree in the backyard, too bad I don't have to ride to get to it.

if it is or was a tree and it is unique and weird it's fair game.

we go take pictures here when the relatives visit ..

Not sure what we got around town, I hope to get a ride in tonight on the GS...

Problem is the camera crapped out on me camping last weekend. Ill see if new batteries help but I tried all my extra batteries and no luck.

I must admit that when I made the farm house the tag I was hoping for this:
DSC02985.jpg

This is my ancestral home it is one of the oldest homes in the US, it was built in 1652 by my great, great, great, great, great, etc. grandfather. This home stayed in the family until around 1905 when it was sold, then around 1960 it was bought back and donated to the city about ten years later. It is currently being used as a museum and a community education center, it's a farm house that sits in the middle of a very large urban environment.

Most of the furnishings are period pieces that have been donated by members of the family.

I know we have members living near this site so I was thinking it would be great if this was the tag that showed up in answer to mine.

I hope that this has not bored you and I just thought that I would share this.

Anyway, on with the game, we are looking for a vey unusually shaped tree.

Cool. I've got a whole lot of trees around these parts in 'da frozen nort', I'm gonna have to find one that's more unusual than the rest. Will a pileated woodpecker tree do if the woodpecker shows up and starts beating on it? (I wouldn't do that, that's in my backyard, one of the old jack pines....):D

Ok, here's a tree twisted up by years of wind, but it still lives.

And here's the next tag, right up Allie's alley, or Bonanze Dave's!:D

100_0599.jpg

Here's the catch: Needs to have a yellow airplane (wing position not important), must be single engine, biplanes not allowed. Here's the rest of the airport.

Go for it!
