A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hey look Dan ! All the snow has melted down by the Mississippi. Just kidding,;) Old picture.

FYI: By next week the sidewalk where my bike is parked may be under water

Most people around the 'ol Miss' and the Minnesota rivers, St. Croix, Red, and several others are going to need small boats for commuting by April I think..:D

Got some good weather today...already 37? at 9am...

Commercial dock, commercial dock...hmmmmm...tricky.

Have to see if I can get this game moving....:)

No commercial docks in the middle of the prairies, so I can't help.

Surely you can get in a ride to Lake Michigan, or one of the many river lock areas. I haven't had time yet to do it around here....

Now my wife pointed out that no one said it had to be on water...and that I could just stop at any business with a loading dock....
Clever, huh? :D

But...while out and about I remembered this:

A business that gives paddle boat rides on the river...weddings, company outings, etc.

And so the next tag is....
An artillery piece of some sort.
artillery.jpg

That should be easy...:)

"That should be easy...:) "

...maybe in the US, where everybody seems to be armed.......are artillary pieces common on private front lawns?

BTDT. Post #614.

Ill get back in the game someday.....

Well...as an ex-artillery man...a tank is not an artillery piece...sorry...completely different...
A self propelled howitzer is an artillery piece, but a tank is not....
Tanks fire line-of-site, direct fire...artillery generally doesn't, indirect fire....

Could have taken pictures of dozens of tanks and artillery pieces today. Sorry, I was riding something bigger and faster than an old GS at the time, so there will be no pictures.

So, the new tag is an artillery piece, is it? I have to go to Brainerd tonight for my practice with the Community Band (playing bass, bringing the bass guitar on the bike for this), so as I pass all the VFWs, Legions and so on, I'll have to be observant, see if there's something other than a tank present......:D

good luck with the tag, hope to be riding soon! here in new england we have artillery pieces in front of schools, libraries, town halls, pretty much everywhere lol.
