I used them on my FZR400 race bike and it would stand on its nose. I'd go with new.

A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.
A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.
A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.
i have kagazumi front and rear wavy discs. top quality, perfect brakes all for ?120. not a true "floater" on the front but it works well and looks good
WTF with the spamming? Really? I see you have more posts in your count than most of the members. I should think you would be more polite an not be spamming other member's threads.
Sorry if you think I spamming, but spam is the use of electronic messaging sytems to send unsolicited bulk messages indiscriminately. My messages where just as solicited as some posts in this thread that attack other?s intelligence or opinions. My "redirect" posts where not bulk as I purposed to limit it and pick 6 or 7 OT threads that may need a perspective check and some motorcycle related stuff. And indiscriminate usually means haphazard or random, and trust me my redirects where fully intended for specific threads.
If you?d like to visit NH and meet me and take a ride together, then you?ll find I?m a pretty nice guy and not impolite.
Trust me, I have far fewer posts than a lot of long timers and especially limit my posts in OT. 90% of my posts(IMO) are valid posts in the Tech, Meetingplace or Riding game, or other non-OT sections but if others want to spend most of their forum time in OT then so be it. Just don't get upset if non-regulars jump into the fray occassionally. I have met my share of GS forum members in person for rides and to establish a relationship well beyond the shallow OT one-upmanship. Sorry for the long winded post, but keep your perspective and don?t get too upset and keep riding. Otherwise, you can always report me to the admin!
Now do you have any knowledge of semi-floating rotors since you?re in my thread presently?![]()
Input from you posers on this?

sounds a lot like you were aiming at TCK to me, he has a lot more posts than Lurch, and i cant see either of them has done any wrongWTF with the spamming? Really? The comment was not intended for Cafe Kid. I was asking about posts that have been made in several unrelated threads re-directing to this thread. While spamming may be the wrong name for it, I refer to posts in off topic threads that have nothing to do with semi-floating brake rotors like the post in the poser thread...
I have noticed these posts in several other threads and was wondering WTF? Kinda like a remote bump??
Sorry, no, I do not have any input on floaters. I posted in this thread because the links posted in other threads lead here. I did not mean to be rude, I am sure you're a great guy. If you ever get out to the north west, look me up, I cook up some mighty tasty ribs.
Sorry if you were offended.
anyway, back on topic, have you decided what you want to go for now mr Lurch?
Because I would have to drill out the 9 buttons on the stock bandit rotors and pay about $80(x2) for a new package of 12 replacable buttons (9 per rotor) I opted to pick up a decent set(both left and right fronts) of complete rotors off e-bay for $70 to hold me over for now. I should get them in the next few days and confirm that they are in fact in great shape and with no play around the buttons ....seller answered my pointed questions satisfactorly...we'll see??:-k
I may then experiment with drilling out the 9 buttons on the sloppy old rotor. Some web based articles say to use a grinding wheel instead. Only full floating buttons are available as aftermarket mods that I can find.
Lurch my rotors are staring to develop slight movement... However I plan on replacing with EBC rotors sometime this winter or early next season.

Sorry I didn't stumble on this thread earlier...
Steve I'm not off the top of my head sure if your bandit uses the same 6 pot tokico calipers as the Rex but either way you may, while you're in there, break them down and grease them. They're great binders, but they have a penchant for getting sticky real easy and over heating the rotor. That heat may have caused some warp which might have been what popped those buttons
