A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I ordered a full set of lines, front and rear, for my 80' 1000G last week from Rennsport. $104, shipping, taxes everything. Hard to beat that kind of pricing.

found a set from rennsport on ebay all 6 yes, 5 front 1 rear for 125.+ship thanks for the info.

http://www.z1enterprises.com/ do Goodridge ones that are reasonable & work out about $40 a line or so.

I use a long line from master to right side caliper & then a short loop over the fender. Double banjo in the Right hand caliper. That's the cheapest & neatest 2 line setup....

:)

Hi,

I don't know what happened to the video on ANplumbing.com's website, but there are lots of Youtube videos on how to assemble AN hoses and fittings.

Like this one:

The rest of the brake info on my site is still valid. I used the Goodridge lines and fittings from Z1Enterprises.com for my brake line upgrade.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

AN fittings

AN fittings

Mr. Cliff thanks for the link on the AN fittings but I don't they would pass saftey inspection on the brake system, in my state. And the price of a good metric crimper would price me out of making them too. I have spent alot of hours looking through your website and it has been a great help.thanks for all the work you put into it.

4 days later and it all arrived, fantastic!

I'll put my 2 cents in for Apex. Well made and inexpensive at about 1/2 the price of locally made. Fast and courteous service. Raymond is a real gentleman and will go out of his way to set you up. I don't think you would be dissapointed at all.

I'm going to have him do a set for the FZ I'll be picking up next week. He's definitely my supplier of choice.

Cheers,
Spyug

I ordered a new rear brake line at 11 p.m. last night from Rennsport and had a personal reply in my email before midnight claiming that the item will be in the mail sometime today. For $35 shipped, I'm impressed!

Not a custom fit, but Most new Triumph's have oem steel lines. Have seen them on ebay. Should pass the safety gestopo? Cheap on e-bay

Got my lines from Mr. Chan also. Great service and reasonable price, this is the second set I have purchased from him, well pleased with both sets.

year make and model of bike, if has done them already he has the lines ready to go or will have them in short order, if not either supply him with the correct lengths and type of fittings on each end and a set will be made.

best is to send them an email

for my bike they did not have the lines, so I actually took my old lines to them and they made a set for me from the old, now he has this in his available set of lines.
