We met in Toronto before he departed to visit Dale and I specifically asked him to say hello to Morgan.

Hello Ron. That wasn't a hard request to fill.

Trying to get myself back to Canada. The cold snap is slowing me down. Had to ride back south to avoid some snow.
Coupled with short days and killer cold when the sun is down makes for short rides.

I am trying for Dales place on Friday night. Toronto on Saturday.

We could meet again on Sunday before my last push home.
Of course all this is contingent on the bike and weather behaving.

Stator and I are now in Montr?al. And I will start publishing some of his adventures.

It all started (For Stator anyway) at Steve's place. I got to park the GK in Steve's new motorcycle garage.
The ceiling isn't low. Steve his very tall.

There Stator in full gear was practising counter steering and dragging knee.

National Museum of the USAF. Look I’m an airplane.

While I was on the phone Stator ate my pulled pork. He left me the slaw.

Later that day on our way to Chicago. Just like Harold and Kumar Stator can eat his own weight, in burgers, in a single meal.

Got rain in the morning. Got to Chicago where Stator stuck his tongue to a post. Being September not much happened to him from that.

We joined route 66.

After making our way out of Chicago we stopped in a motel to dry out our stuff from the morning shower.
We both got a warm baths because we could (Stator's bath is pretend because I believe he would turn to mud).

Jake and Elwood Blues jumped over the GK in Joliet.

At the launching pad Stator met with a TV and movie star. Also doing the Route 66 but Eastbound. They traded "Secrets" in each other's ears.....Then they giggled looking at me.....Go figure.

After getting a bit out of beaten paths and driving between corn fields Stator took over the map reading part of this expedition.

We refuelled and had our pictures taken. That's a real man behind Stator. Stator auditioned to get the part of the station attendant for next year......They said "we’ll call you".

We rode and walked on an old section of the route.

When we first got to the Launching pad it was surrounded by old cars.

"Wow, expensive display". I didn't know if I was allowed to park there.
I found a spot. Turned out to be a meet of some car collector club.

Spoke with one of the owners. He was curious about the GK.
Mileage, age, parts, what was fabricated, from other bkes, where it had been, etc...

In Pontiac Stator got to drive test some mascot sized vehicles.

Found a "Tennis Ball Tree". Turns out that they are "Hedge Apple" trees. They grow in other places too and they are not "Apples". And you can't eat them.

Stator got balls.

Stator has a good eye and found the only Suzuki there. When asked about it the manager asked if he could keep my ride.....Is it that old?

Stator asked the manager if he could sit on it. He said "Yes" and assisted him.

What a clever bear. Stator just happened to have a box of plugs with him.

New mexico.

Slices. The first one Stator gave it it's good enough till California. The second one well it was closed. I will have to look like a walrus a little longer yet.

More museum. Amber gave stator a New Mexico pin and wished she could travel like he does.
