A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

David, the post you quoted was from Dec, 2022. Chuck and I PM'd back and forth a few times. Gave him my address and phone number. And he said he would send Stator to me. Stuff happens. I understand. chuck hahn , I am still interested. I can try and make a new passport for our boy and give him a fresh start. I can try to go back to Flyboy's posts if possible and get some info to get started.

I bet if you send Chuck money for postage you'd get Stator quicker.
No guarantee though...
But without his journal, it's pretty much useless.

You were the last one to ask... just seems like Stator deserves some more adventures.

Just wanted to thank Burque73 for turning me on to Hatch Chiles!
I usually pick up a few cans when passing through New Mexico.
But now their stocking it in my local grocery store!!!

That's awesome! Next time you come through, stop in Isleta Pueblo just South of Albuquerque for a Green Chile Cheeseburger. Or Laguna Pueblo West of town for a Laguna burger. Yum!

I sent chuck hahn a new PM with my same address and phone number.

Good luck Rich in getting him back.
Maybe we can start a new journal for him.
I think it would be fun getting Stator out and about again.
I wonder if he still has all the patches that were pinned to him?

I still can't believe in how organized Steve is with everything, he could loose the journal...(or misplace)
I think there was some shenanigans going on there...
But whatever, let's start a new chapter.

GUYS..
Until i get my first retirement check sometime around the 17th i cant spend money i have. That said soon as i can ill pm Rich. I dont recall ever discussing it before but whatever. Keep your pants on for a week or so And yes all his pins and his hat are with him just as i got him.

Im not interested on 3 years ago. The issues been raised and soon as i can afford postage it will be remedied. I saw your address.

Going on three weeks... still no Stator?
I'd send Chuck the money for postage.
But that's no guarantee he'd ship it...

I sent him a pm a few days ago. I didnt get my retirement check on the 17th as was scheduled so i had to hold cash on hand. I got an email saying is been straightened out and i should be paid this week.
I assure you my word is good but life happens. So reserve the judgement please. Ive not had a check since March 3rd when i had the hip replacement from dealing with the hoops to jump through. So now you KNOW facts but then again i dont owe anyone here an explanation.

Sorry about time but i had to get past the fail on social securities end. They got it sorted and it was direct deposited last night at midnight. Hopefully from here out there arent any issues

Well, look who showed up on my front stoop this morning via Chuck Hahn and the USPS.
looks like Chuck packed just enough nuts for Stator to snack on in transit. Had one acorn nut left. Thanks, Chuck!

Since our boy has been traveling without papers, first order of business was to book him into the studio for a new passport photo.

I have appealed to the NZ consulate for a replacement but I don’t have much hope for a reply. No worries. I know a guy. :-\\\

I will do my best to make a record of his journey thus far in a new journal: Members/locations and dates.

Stay tuned for the New Adventures of Stator, the GSR Traveling Mascot.

Dang, Rich. I never even asked him his last name. Dude was here for a couple of weeks at least. We had some beers and he helped me change out my stator, then he just high tailed it to Ohio.

Thanks for doing all that for the little guy.

No problem. I've been having fun with it. I’ve cleaned up the text and even added the accents over the correct letters in the Māori words.

So, if no objections, Surname will just be “Bear”.
