I've just put the carbs back on recently and and running the bike around the neighborhood and it's performing admirably. Took it out on the highway for a more extended run today, and while it's fine overall, I tried really hitting the gas more than I typically due to see how it responded. I'm getting a bit of a stuttering effect, almost lurching when exceeding 7K RPM, ballpark or in that neighborhood anyway. I know there's probably no one answer, but what are some initial things to look for or usual suspects. Also, when I park the bike, I can see some liquid on the edge of the gang plate joining the carbs. It's darker than fuel, suspect maybe some oil mixing in with gasoline and getting outside of the carbs somehow.
Also, I suspect I've routed the fuel line from the petcock to the t-junction on the carburetors wrong, don't know how problematic that might be but take a look, it does touch the top of the first carb
