A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Anyone on here ride one or own one I bought one and pick it up next week , would like your thoughts on this bike , its got a v-twin 650 motor I know it
has good torque and handles well , Brian, I reduced the herd of my old Suzukis
so now will just have my old kat and new gladius for now lol:cry:

Stupid name, good bike.same v twin motor as my s v 650

:eek:Ok be nice guys lol, name sounds gay i know but bike is cool i hope.Brian

I have a 2012 Vstrom which has the same engine as the Gladius, it's feels almost as quick as my GS1000S but the power delivery is very different.
I really like the bike and it goes well even 2 up, transmission is just so silky smooth.
Love the look of the Gladius as well.
Wonder how the stock seat is for longer trips?
My Vstrom seat is not very comfortable for me, and I've not bothered to upgrade it yet but will need to if I plan any longer rides than a few hours.

Good luck.

I heard a Ducati leaving a stop light recently. At idle is was punchy and raspy. When he took off the sound was amazing as he went thru the gears. Looks like the Suzuki is a 90 deg v twin as well. The sound alone is fantastic!

Yeah i am looking forward to getting it , i will see what the seat is like , i am sure there are after market ones, brian

It may be the best running bike in the world, but its looks are.......ugh.

Gluteus may have been a more appropriate name for it.

I've seen pictures on sv650.com with some of the plastic stuff removed and other bits painted black. Nice looking bike.

Nice continuation of the SV650 line.

Absolutely. As soon as you get it home take off those dumb colored plastic frame covers they stuck on it. Put the screws back to fill the holes once that's done......

So did you pick up the big, Harley10? If yes, what do you think of it?

I fire up my SV650 with a Scorpion slip-on when I don't have time to ride just so I can listen to it for a few minutes.

Throaty, snarly and basso-profundo! :D

Nobody will ever accuse Suzuki of providing a comfortable seat on the SV650.:)

Good its not just me LOL, any suggestions on a new seat, !??

Check out SVrider.com there is an outfit in Florida that re does the SV/Gladius seat with Gel. Many are very pleased with it.
