I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

It's amazing how such a large amount of time and effort can be compressed into just a few pages isn't it?

I'm thinking of my project thread and how many pages it would be if I had the same thing happen, and I reckon only 2 or 3 as well...

It just doesn't reflect the real time or effort that's been put in when it's so short, but it does give a very quick glimpse at before and after which is a huge difference.

It sort of reminds me of reading Stephen King's The Stand and then watching the movie. The book is about such a long period of time over a few years, whereas the movie gives the impression of a couple of months...

However, it's good stuff and I can't wait to see how it all looks when it's done, and good call on the Duanage R/R for sure.

Pete, your build thread is much more in depth than mine IMO. I talk a lot of random crap while you get right down to it :).

Now I just $10 more for a jacket. It's exactly like this but 10 times less money. Thank you DTT!

Man... I shouldn't have sold all of my gear! Especially my Alpinestars jacket. Loved that one... Too bad it got torn up :(.

Now I'm looking for a nice full face helmet.

My current helmet was involved in the December 2010 crash so it's best not to use it anymore.

The damage isn't very bad but I'm not taking any chances. Here's my KBC VR-2 Reaper.

The damage isn't very bad at all! How did I land? I think I landed on my right shoulder which is why my old jacket got torn up in that area. Then I must have bumped my head some on the ground.

It's a good helmet. Hmmm... Wonder what I should get? I'm thinking about a Scorpion EXO 1000 or maybe an Arai? If I get enough money, I want a Simpson .

Scorpion EXO-1000 Sublime

Scorpion EXO 400's are usually on sale at motorcycle superstore for about 60 bucks. At least they were last time I checked. I got one for a spare. The price was too good to pass up, and it's a nice helmet. My main helmet is a scorpion EXO 700 'Burst'. It's blue and I think looks sweet.

Sweet helmet, Tim Tom.

Yes, I should look for something cheaper. It's $200 for the Scorpion EXO 1000. Time to browse mc superstore.

OK. Here's my first impression of my new Cortech Scarab gloves.

They fit perfectly (medium) and have great quality. There are titanium/carbon protection panels in all of the vital places. Your knuckles, fingers, wrist, palm. There are two velcro straps. A small one is on your wrist and a bigger one is on your lower forearm. Straps provide a nice tight fit. Gloves also have good ventilation. Plus the gloves look so cool .

Crappy little review but I'll say that I love them.

So now, I've placed a few orders on camera mounts.

This one goes on the handlebars.

And this one can go on the front fender, gas tank, seat, and maybe my helmet.

Chinese crap? I know that the suction cup is good since my friend puts it on his gas tank. No trouble for about 4 months now.

I'd like to get a GoPro HD or maybe a Drift HD170. But that will wait until I finish the bike. For now, I'll just use my digital camera and the above mounts.

Get ready for some track and riding videos :D.

I know the go pro HD comes with quite a few different mounts when you buy it. It may have what you need already.

So that's why the box is so big. But the Drift camera is of much better quality than the GoPro. I've been watching Youtube videos and I can say that I have Drift envy....

Hey if you are looking for boots check out Gasolina boots. Pricey but oh so perfectly cafe

OH YES! Those boots are cool. $180 for the pair? Not too bad considering that they are hand made.

So anyways, look what I got today. It's a brand new duaneage Honda R/R :D.
DSCN3195.jpg

Here's everything in the package. The R/R itself, some bullet connectors, and a zip tie. This ought to fix my regulating problem.

This is indeed brand new. That's right. $45 for a BRAND NEW and better than stock R/R. I will try it tomorrow and report back.

QUESTION: This R/R has 3 stator wires (yellow). But my bike only has input for 2 wires. What do I do?

I think you can just plug the 2 in and wrap up the third.

Wheres the pink tank?

Wasn't able to get it done today either. I totally forgot to do my homework over the weekend so I had to get that done first. By the time I finished school was out, haha!

I'm gonna ask that R/R question to everyone.

K&N sticker on. Yes, I will get K&N filters soon. And a Yoshi. All with time...

I have more K&N stickers if anyone is interested.

Good stuff on the R/R! However, your stator definitely will have 3 wires and all three should be yellow.

Behind your counter sprocket cover, you'll have two bits of harness, one from the stator and one from the gear position indicator switch.

Follow the one from the stator and there will be your answer, by default one of the wires goes into the main harness instead of straight to the R/R.
