A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

There was another thread on here recently that discussed fork braces. I did a goodle search and found this info for

http://www.xs11.com/xs11-info/tech-...sion/143-installing-a-telefix-fork-brace.html

The TELEFIX fork stabilizer is manufactured in Germany and distributed by:
SPEC II Research + Engineering
8927 Lankershim Blvd.
Sun Valley, CA 91352
ph: 818 504-6364 (DISCONNECTED)

I can't find the company listed in any recent google searches. Maybe the XS11 site knows where to new contact info is

Here is a new one I did find

The purpose of a fork brace is to eliminate flex by increasing the rigidity of your motorcycle's forks. The Telefix fork brace uses a patented adjustment design. This design is not only strong, but does not cause slider distortion like other styles of braces may cause.
The Telefix fork brace offers the perfect fit without the use of shims. Easily installed with a "built-in", not "added-on", look. With specially machined braces for over 220 models, we're sure to have one to suit your needs.
These braces are constructed of a light but superstrong aluminum alloy. Featuring a black powder coat finish for lasting beauty. (Go to Application Chart.)

Best of luck -- over the last several years, a few of us have tried to get Telefix braces from Spec II with no results.

I've called Spec II twice, credit card shined up and ready to order, and apparently the guy on the other end is completely insane. Within two sentences, he was screaming profanities into the phone about shipping costs from Germany and how many weeks it might take, and then he hung up. I gave him a couple of years to calm down and get some medication, but had the same results when I tried again.

A few others have tried as well with similar results -- unprovoked screaming, profanity, hang up.

Apparently, the guy either had an aneurysm or his charming style of personal service doesn't actually pay the bills.

Now then.... several of us are using Tarozzi fork braces, made in Italy, and they are very nice, high-quality pieces. And they are available without all the rage from a company called "Fast From The Past".

telifix are crap anyway leave well alone. go for a tarrozi or a micron if you can get one
No they aren't! They actually work VERY well on all the Suzukis I have used them on. Is this ANOTHER case of you spouting again about something you've NEVER even tried? I ask because you seem to have a history with this problem. Ray.

I have used and like tele fix equipment

rz and rd road racing fork braces clip on bars rear set pegs and controls.

I have a current number to get parts. since it's junk you don't need it.
