I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I wasn't going to say anything until mine shipped, which it did today (after ordering it on Friday), but Motorcycle Superstore has a closeout on V&H 4 into 1 street megaphone for the GS1000G and I'm pretty sure other models as well. The best part is free shipping. I got it delivered to my door for $305.00, damn good deal. Thought I'd pass it along.

hey guys i just bought mine from bikebandit, and it came to like 280 after shipping and all....

i used the discount code from fathers day, still good i guess, and it took 10% off

i ordered on friday as well and it will be here tomorrow

Nice, Bike Bandit was 338.00 plus shipping on mine, didn't know about the father's day code.

Should be set up for MAYBE this weekend, and next for sure. I just got my gaskets from Z1, the pipe and helicoil both shipped today (1 bolt sheared below the surface), and the 316 stainless allen bolts should be on the way as well.

Black!

Black!

Why can't I find a black header? I guess I'll have to get chrome.

Can sure paint one. There are high temp paints that will hold up pretty well.

I can't wait, fresh pipes with brand new stainless allen heads, gonna look sweet.

Try Cycle spot in Arizona. Cheapest place I could find a few months back.

Less than $300.

I'm so pumped up I can't stand it. Gaskets already got here, new Allen heads already got here. Pipe shipped yesterday. Probably be next weekend. Not looking forward to drilling out those sheared bolts, but major "to do" marked off my list. SS brake lines and front end upgrades are next.

where did you get the new exhaust bolts? i too have one that busted when i last took the OE pipe off

i want to find a set of 4-2 straight pipes, for a 1100..... any ideas on this?

i would roll down to a hardware store and buy some allenhead stainless ones.. just put some antiseize on them when you put them in or they wont come back out

As 850G said, a REAL hardware store may have them (like Ace). I got 316 stainless allen heads from McMaster-Carr I think it is, recommended by Nessism I think. 2 packs of 5 in 316 was about 25 bucks shipped, so got 2 extra.

hay whats the deal with these pipes? they were $280 something now their ski rocketing to $315. i tried ordering them yesterday from a place called nopork $282 shipped and they returned my money and said there suppler is out of stock. then i went back to there sit and now there price is $315.
r they bing discontinued or just going up in price. should i buy now from bike bandit $289

I noticed that Vance and Hines site the price has gone up on them. I dont think they are discontinuing them, at least there was no mention of that on their site. Keep in mind, this pipe fits god knows how many different bikes, and MAYBE they change just the rear mount depending on what they are selling it for. The same pipe fits ALL of the GS 8v models with the same head spacing (750 to 1100) and i think they maybe change the mount in back but maybe not too..I know if they are discontinuing, i will be snatching one up!

if you order from bikebandit use the promo code MOTODAD
it may still work but it was good for 10% off

browse around they usually have promo codes floating around

Well i HAVE a good VH pipe, Ima wait and see if you want to sell that one off that 750 you got, and if so, the VH will go on my 1100, and the pipe you have on the cafe.

just ordered my pipe from bikebandit $251 shipped:) the promo still works
thanks 80gs750

Have any of you guys considered putting up a before and after video on YouTube for sound comparison?

I'm considering ordering a V&H for my 1980 GS850G (when it gets running) but I'd like to know what it sounds like.
