A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Vacuum Tires?

Playing around on eBay and came across this, a "Vacuum Tire" for cheap. Considering the price point my guess is something got botched in the translation OR it could be something completely new? I'll let you be the judge

Don’t know about vacuum, but add says they don’t need to be inflated, I’m not going to Ginny pig on that one the way I ride.

Probably quite good at finding the nearest unoccupied space at the side of the road, ie, ditches.

Something about this thread is terribly misconstrued !!!! There is absolutely nothing about tubeless that in any way relates to vacuum. One place says max. inflation 44 psi, next place says non inflatable, also says non run flat, if you can't inflate it and you can't run it flat?????... Would be interesting to know if it's anything other than an off-brand tubeless tire.

I've poked around and the only mentions I can find relate to them being a replacement for solid tires on hand carts, wheelbarrows etc and scooter tires. As mentioned, it's probably a matter of something getting lost in translation and for only $2 more you can get a Shinko Tourmaster 230 in that same size. Still, I'd like to KNOW if there really is a difference between these tires and an ordinary tubeless tire just for the sake of knowing.

It's a clumsy translation from Chinese. There is nothing different about the tire except the word chosen to describe it.

I don't see any misunderstanding . The ad says it is a blackwall tubeless vacuum tire and apparently it fits all Harley Davidson models .
That sounds perfect for sucking up the endless hot air from H-D owners and it comes with a 60 day warranty that will cover an entire hauling/riding season for many of them..
