I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Returning Visitors
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I had an issue with one a couple of times ..... I keep my tablet in a stand on my coffee table and it is always plugged in ..... One day I am watching TV and I hear a loud crack . The screen on the tablet was cracked and bowed out towards me ..... It had an internal explosion which caused the battery to rapidly expand .... Fortunately it was contained within itself .....This happened with two tablets.... I was told it was likely a result of them always being plugged in charging ...... My newest tablet has a feature that says ..... " Hey a$$hole. You've got me on charge all the time. So until you get your head out of your a$$ I'm going to cut charging off at 70% " .... So far it hasn't exploded ..,...
A lot of the cheaper stuff out there doesn’t have good BMS. Done to save costs…..

Milwaukee and other tool brands tell you to never leave their batteries on charge indefinitely.
TTI own a lot of those anyway… all the same company.

I'd better tell the guys that work in the shop, because they've been leaving them in charger all the time when not in use
I'm sure different brands do different things. My 30 yr. old Makita 9.9V chargers turn off when batt. is fully charged, you got to push the button back down (to on position) to top off or restart the charger. If batt. is already full charged the button will not stay down in on position.
The quickest way to reduce the lifespan of LiPo (3.7-4.2V) batteries is to leave them on charge longer than they need to be.
The path to doubling or tripling the lifespan is to always stop the charge at 80%, and never deplete them below 40% before recharging. This pretty much eliminates heat and stress on the cell. They will last nearly forever.

Actually, Miwaaukee says leaving the battery on the charger won't hurt anything. They don't recommend it per se, though.
