    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Wazz is a straight shooter.

Not sure if this is the correct place to sing praises about a deal with a member but its here now. He responded to my inquiry about a set of spoke hubs for a GS and he stated his price. I agreed and Paypaled him the funds. Seemed he under priced them to cover shipping and I offered to send more to help with the cost. He declined stating he made a deal and would stick to it. I cant say enough about how well this deal was in my favor. Or to the credit of Wazz for sticking to his promise. He made my project take another step forward and I hope I can return this in kind to him or another member someday. If you have the chance to deal with this person, do it with no worries in mind.

Sorry, couldn't help it but some UK translation of the title of this thread:

To have a wazz means to take a pee (urinate). To shoot straight means to hit the pan without peeing on the floor.

Aah, the UK and the US - 2 countries separated by a common language. (George Bernard Shaw)

I'm still riding an 1100g I got from him. (tho not lately as the icy road conditions suck)

Here in the midwest we're lucky enough to have a "Wazz" at most every GSR rally ... actually two if you count Tina (who makes almost every rally Greg does)!

So ... all of you have been taken in by the mystical Wazz charm have you? Admittedly it's a hard force to resist, what with all that genuineness, character, and warmth constantly being exuded!

Thankfully, we're lucky to have a lot of people like Greg and Tina in the GSR fold!

Regards,

Yeah, I've ridden with wazz/Greg at the GS rallys, he's good people. +1

Earl
