If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

What color to paint Morris Mags?

those look pretty good
dont mean to highjack your thread but what baffle you got in that pipe

Do you know if these wheels are specific only to the Suzuki GS? They resemble the stock Enkei wheels from the early 80's KZ1000. I really like the look of the KZ wheels and would like to do a swap, but cannot find any information as to if that is possible.

I was just thinking if your wheels would fit both the KZ and the GS bikes, then possibly stock KZ wheel of the same years would fit my '78 GS750E as well?

Thanks.

Pretty sure these Morris wheels only work on GS's . . . so far the stock GS rotors line up, the GS cush hub rubber slips fit and the cush hub slides right in. No idea if they fit a KZ1000 or if the stock KZ wheels fit a GS and vice versa, maybe try the Search? I recall seeing GS Enkei star rims on a 81 GPZ550 but anything can be made to fit if you know what I mean

looks like a kz440 rim.

I agree, looks exactly like a KZ440.
These are little wider than GS star rims

Steve, Those wheels are looking great, nice work. Ray .

Thanks for the complement Ray, I would have powder coated them but funds are what they are. Now I can say they look that way because I refinished them by hand

The GS1000S fairing & mirrors are not installed at the moment but I like the contrast.

Looks fantastic. Wheels turned out great!

Love the slight hot rod look it has with the metallic paint. Very nice swingarm too! :)

This is one of the nicest, most tastefully modifed GS's I've seen.

Inspiring!

I agree wholeheartedly. When I read the beginning of this post, I was going to suggest painting the recessed areas the same shade of blue as the tank. The idea was based upon having done the same with the rims on an "S" I repainted several yrs ago while living in CA. Someday, I'll find and post pics of that bike.
Now that I've seen what the finished product looks like, I think the black looks great! Congratulations on a beautiful looking bike!
