Rancid! Nice. My younger son digs the song Last One To Die. As do I.
I look forward to when I can kick back in a warm garage.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.
It must be because it's up on a jack, but I'm reminded of all the brat bikes with low seats and high bars. The Cafe-G project... Finally I see something I want to do with this L.

I hope you're not headed for that look. I lowered the front end of my last 2 bike projects for better turn in.

Clipons rearsets and the front lower than the rear and id say it'd be a nice cafeish beast pal
Looks more like a bobber type deal to me. But regardless caf? bikes have a high ass and low front. Unless youre at the local hardly dealership and looking at their idea of a "cafe" which is just a baby sportster with bubble style windscreen. Jedz123 im not knocking your bike at all, in fact i like it i like the style but its not a cafe.
We finally got around to repainting the bedroom our daughter occupied while she was here. Several years ago I helped her paint it pink, then she took markers or paint sticks of some sort and wrote Bible verses, quotes from movies, and favorite sayings on all walls and the ceiling. Her room looked like a high school yearbook signed by the whole class! I'm on primer coat number five trying to hide this stuff. Ive never had anything bleed through so many coats like this. I even scrubbed the marker off with those grime boss wipes before the first coat. Ugh, may wind up with paneling or just skim coat and re texture the room![]()
Current fad in interior house painting is multi-colored walls, often using bold colors. I suspect that marketing departments at paint companies are counting on your problem burgeoning across the entire country over the next 5 to 15 years as (1) People tire of loud designs (2) Houses are bought by people whose tasted differ from the current owners. Billions of gallons of primer will be sold to try to cover the designs.
My suggestion, which I haven't tried: White primer has poor color covering power. Go to a much darker shade. After the marks are covered, switch to white again. It won't be as brilliant as if bright white primer was used, but it will hide the mess.
Another suggestion: Use exterior paint in 5 gallon buckets, as it costs much less. Then top coat with the good stuff.
