    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

What is it like to own a motorcycle in Wisconsin ?

Seriously, most Canadians wouldn't need to ask that questions.....would they?

Where I live if anybody looks out the window and sees a light dusting happening the instant reaction is..... " On my Gawd ! Is that snow ? We're all gonna die ! " ......

I was half-expecting a rider on a GSXR1000 with studded ice tyres to go whizzing past you.

Yeah, where's the motorcycle?

Today you would need the studded tires -
Under the snow is 1/2" of ice -
The road surface was warmer yesterday and the first inch of snow melted on contact -
Then it got cold and more snow - ICE packed hard HARD ! on the roadway.
Mostly I am just grousing about the fact that I should still be riding (in a typical year at 49* avg)
:jaded::cold:

So Carl, when did you put such a fancy fairing on your Goldwing? I never knew they made ones that stuck out that far and were that wide :cool:

Little did I realize that yesterday was the WARM day this week --

Today -- HIGH temperature of 15*

Balmy fall :(

Carl,
Yah, here we go again, a bit early this year.

Is a little bit of a different experience when start with it parked outside, and have to figure out how to brush off the snow enough to open the door to be able to get out the brush. THEn brush it off (as much as decide to brush off), and then drive off, maybe with still snow on hood, and maybe windshield not entirely clear, and snow on roof blowing back over the rear window.

They went all preemptive today in NY - no snow, but the streets are covered in salt.

This whole year has been crappy, half of our season at the dragstrip was rained out.
