A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Better that 50 in mixed driving on my 750t. The bike is stock except windshield and has less than 12k. It was about 45 before a carb rebuild.

Last three gas slips showed 44.02mpg on the highway getting to the twisties, 34.32mpg at the twisties, 43.36mpg on the way home from the twisties. 83 1100E stock engine, intake and exhaust.

On my 260 mile round trip over the Sierras and back on my 1150, I averaged 41.6. Average speed 75 mph.

I average about 50 ot 55 MPG on mixed driving. I ride about 16 miles round trip to work 6 days a week.

I'm getting about 33 mpg on my 83 Katana 1150/1229 with GSXR carbs, jet kit pods and pipe. I think I gained 1mpg reducing the pilots back to stock 30 from 32.5. Just turned 70,000 yesturday.

60-65 mph = 45 mpg
70-75 mph = 50 mpg

yes, mileage increases at higher speeds.

85 1150E gets 46 mpg at 65 mph. Gas milage increases or decreases about 2 mpg per 5 mph. i.e. 70 mph is about 44 mpg, 75 mph about 42 mpg or 60 mph is about 48 mpg, 55 mph about 50 mpg. At a steady 45 mph, it tops out at around 53 mpg.
