A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Who owns a Triumph Daytona?

Didn't Baatfaam or Rich?

I have the TT600, which is the direct predecessor to the Daytona 600.
It's also a inline four, and not a triple.

Knowing how Trevor operates, he's probably looking at the new Daytona 660.

Hi guys, thanks....I bought a 1997 Triumph T595....they changed it to a i955 the following year because everyone thought it was only 600cc...lol
Bought it from the original owner....45,000kms...al original...except the after market but Triumph exhaust (comes with original too)...stock solo seat, owners manual etc.....I saw it on craigslist yesterday and thought it looked good, took a look and fell in love....it will be uncomfortable to ride....but it is just to beautiful to pass up....and from what I've been reading they are becoming quite collectable but I basically don't know anything about them...now I gotta make room in the garage,,,,lol

Thanks guys, I just joined and will be sure to mention your referral when I post an introduction. Unless of course you don’t want to be associated with me :p

Congrats!! Very nice bike from all the tests and reports I remember reading when they were new. Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks Rich, I'm picking it up tonight. Looking forward to riding it...yeah I read the reviews on it and it seems like a solid bike :)

Oil and filter change and new brake pads and bleed. And this week it goes into my bmw/triumph dealer for a recall notice and while there I'm going to piggy back on the labour and have them do a valve check and coolant flush....how can someone allow their brake fluid to get this bad??

It's not as comfy as my vfr....lol

Good call on having the dealer do the valve check if you can afford to. Just finished doing my tiger. Let me tell ya, it was a much bigger chore than I imagined it could be, just to even get to the cam cover. Had to buy some special tools, some I could improvise. In the end, I’m glad I did it, cause I wanted to learn how and I did save a lot of money. But it really tried my patience and skill as a shade tree mechanic.

Well last month I did the valve check on my VFR with a buddy and that was a big chore and over $2000 if the dealer did it....the Triumph I'm looking at a grand.
Not sure if I'm doing to even keep the bike....lol
