When I started Jennifer's make over four years ago, I bought one of the last of the Honda Regulator/Rectifiers that Duane has was supplying.
Of course four years is a long time, and I have lost/misplaced/thrown away the schematic that came with it, so I need the collective knowledge of those in the know.
The R/R comes with six wires, 3 yellow, a red, a black with an aux pigtail and a green wire with a ring terminal.
My question is, where does the green wire and the little pigtail off the black wire go?
I have it wired up as follows,
The 3 yellow wires to stator
The red wire to battery positive post
The black wire to battery negative post.
Green wire not connected ?????
pigtail off black wire not connected ??????
As is, I am getting a healthy 13.5V at idle.
What concerns me is an over voltage situation, I know that somewhere one of the wires should be spliced into a switched 12V supply, such as the rear tail or brake light to monitor system voltage, but which one?
So, where does the green wire and the little pigtail off the black wire go?
