You're so busy on the GSR boards, I didn't think you had time for this rider. (Well, soon to be riding again)

Stay happy (as you always are) and keep enjoying your renewed childhood.

Eli, same deal here. Beautiful yesterday, thought I couldn't get out, then perfect calm last night, then wind, rain, sleet, and a light coating of snow this morning.
Time to begin planning my to do list of cycle work for the winter.

not expecting any more riding days this year so I've already started my winter projects, I've already switched my CBX calipers and rotors to twin pot upgrades from a cb750f..race tech emulators for the forks next, then paint 2nd set of bodywork tank, tail cowl, fender...then build new tail section for GS...

The 1980 stock seat on the 1000s had a step to it...mine is more exaggerated than stock....it has been shaved more, then recovered. That was done shortly after it was purchased....it was quite common for guys to do it as it looked closer to what Wes Cooley raced on the track. And given the period correct things done to my bike (S&W shocks, Fork Brace, Deraile oil cooler, Kerker pipe) I'm not surprised that this "mod" was also done.

It really does look a lot like an 'L' seat though, doesn't it.

Just cause I brought up the "L" doesn't mean it gives you the green light to bring the "T" into it!
