I have ridden for over 4 decades and have never been threatened by a Harley rider or riders.

Four more decades here, that has never happened.

SUV drivers and soccer moms once or twice, but no motorcycles at all.

Hah. Some eejit looked at my clocks and said, "Don't do much mileage, then?"
Suzuki speedos of that era (don't know about later ones) don't show the hundred thousands.

I admit I do not go out of my way to meet them.
One year I was in Nashville Indiana, meeting up for the Brown County Rally. Pulled into the service station where we were to meet. There was a bunch of Harley riders there. I saw lots of beer and smelled smoke from hand rolled cigarettes. Made myself scarce from that group.

I'm sure I have told this story before....
When my cousin came out here last year for a bike trip we took, we were in garage talking everything motorcycles and he told me a story about riding his 1977 KZ1000 (that he bought new and still has). He pulled up beside a Harley at a stop light. The Harley was doing it's usual shacking and vibrating with the rider's arms shaking too.
My cousin looked over at him and asked.. "Is your bike scared of mine"?
I gotta remeber to use that line sometime!

Honestly, if somebody asked me that at the traffic lights, I'd just think he was an axlehole.

it's funny but, statistically, the guy on the harlster portley probably wouldn't think so.

I doubt the Hardley rider would care. Your brother was not in the uniform, so he did not really count.

I would too. Axlehole? OK that works.

Yup. That is the Finnish version of "the uniform".
