No big deal there.Well my neighbor has a Harley
and he won,t ride me and my buddy... I have suzuki and my friend has a yamaha... He only rides with his H-D and Triumph friends.When he goes riding bike must be clean and boots are shining ...Harley jacket and other stuff.
Showing to the others that i got Harley.
The only Harley Rider I do not mind riding with is my brother in law.
He rides within the speed limit anyways and needs somebody to look out for him.
My best friend went from a sportsbike to a Harley and I only rode with him once when he had the Harley.
It just was not any fun.
He must have agreed because after 4 months he sold it and bought a Honda R1000 1000R ?
I think the largest percentage of Harley riders around me ride for different reasons then me?
Some great mountain roads around me and most of the time no traffic.
The cars are not bad and keep at least a decent speed most of the time, getting behind a gaggle of Harleys sucks though as they cannot keep a decent speed on the twisties without fear of grinding off the road.
I have always been a loner anyways and for the majority of the time find more fun with just a couple of people then a whole herd.Comment

You ain't a Harley man if you don't have at least the Harley jacket and the bike...it's shame if it is stock bike can't park it next to fellow H-D that is tuned and fixed..you feel embarrassing 
for you bike.Like you buy a 7000e bike and put another 7000e to pimping you ride..just to look normal in eyes of all the other H-D friends ....

I saw the second ever HD I've ever seen here in Kenya complete with the orange stripey jacket, full face, tinted visor, with a mutu (Local guy) on a Chinese 125 'piki piki' in his flip flops was in front over the lumpy bits. , when I mentioned this to the local US aid chick from Albuquerque who spends much energy on everything American, (who by the way had never raced hopping bar stools and because I, a nice fella held her tyts to help her) asked did I stop and speak to him, was met with a total blank stare, why, why, why would I do that??sigpic

Agreed, H*rleys are fairly ridiculous motorcycles by-and-large. Only exceptions in my book are the V-rod and any Buell.
Anyways, if the machine brings someone joy, then I'm not going to sling too much mud.
But why O why do most of these 'men' need to (i) have massive attitude problems, and (ii) wear neoprene 'skull' face masks? I simply cannot take any man seriously who is wearing a Halloween outfit.

A lot of bikers around my general area don't wear helmets. Seems like they are pretty much nearly all on Harleys.Comment
