It's a toss up for me this week. I like Burque's picture, with the girls evil grin and the boys terrified look on his face.... But I'm going to vote for STEVE MURDOCK. That swing arm is truly terrifying!!!

Toss up for me as well. I’m not sure how Glenn discovered those brakes but if it was in a panic stop I’m really hoping the mess in the pants was very minimal. Steve’s picture is definitely one of “oh crap, I almost lost my rear wheel”.

Hmmm, wish I could vote for both but put me down for Steve Murdoch as well

It's a terrifying feeling getting caught out and watching every snowflake to see if it's sticking...especially here on a raincoast where cars don't know snow, let alone me not being a snowboy.... so it's double jeopardy.

Trevor for me as well. I think that's pretty much all of our worst moto nightmares.

Scott, the worn brakes were found during winter maintenance several years ago. I did notice a slight grinding sound on the last ride of that season. The calipers were also opened up and inspected at the time.

I like Keerys skelton on the bike with the , ah, skull cap helmet.

SteveMurdock pic is startling for looking like a serpent or monster or something, then recognize as end of swing arm, then notice the damage.

I like Bob baatfam pic. WOuld be more scary if knew it was an old prison.

Vote for Trevor. At first it doesnt look too deformed, but then notice a few things... Yikes.

Trevor's for me, as a useful reminder to stop pushing my luck.
Of course, the actually most scary thing used to be court summonses or tax demands dropping through the letterbox.
