I am sure I have one, Carl, but won't be able to dig it out until Friday evening.

Get me a diameter of the clamp to make sure I get the right one (I have a couple different sizes) and PM your address to me, I will get it out on Saturday.

Awesome - Thanks - Check your mail

As near as I can figure it is about 60 mm diameter...
        Depends on open or closed...
I KNOW I didn't loose it..so it may never have been there..
I think the Previous owner tried several things to get it running but couldn't and wouldn't do a proper carb clean..
The slides were ALL STUCK tight with varnished gas so it would've never run..hence I got it cheap...

Friday will be fine as I am working Thurdsday - Friday & Saturday at my extra 1/2 time job...so that makes 2 13 hour days followed by an easy 8 ...Sunday...have to wait for the schedule to come out...

The slides don't need to move to start the bike.

You could even go for a leisurely ride around the block with them jammed closed.

Uhh ohh...I was hoping that was the main reason it wouldn't start...
But the green goo in and on many of the jets probably had something to do with it too...
And the battery I was using had enough energy to turn it over ..but maybe not enough to start it..that battery has since been recycled...
I WILL get it running - once I get the air box clamp thing resolved..
While I am waiting for the part ..I can do other things that need done...

Brake calipers removed & cleaned - Master cylinder drained adn cleaned and brakes re-bleed with fresh fluid.
            Oil & filter change
Tires mounted - (sitting in the garage right now)

The list is getting smaller --

                Happy dude here...

                Immense joy !!!
                Thank you so much..
At this point I have the wheels off awaiting new rubber...oil changed, and brakes are tomorrow ...
The only thing left will be to replace the carbs and get it running...
Within a week I should have it going

I owe you a root beer
