      color

There just seems something wrong with painting a GS that color.
It's a Chev color not vomit green more like a blur as It goes by with 200 hp . It's all In the spring . More spring more boost more better .

I finally found a good spot to mount the damper and didn't have to do any welding either. I just used the lower oil cooler hole.

                Ogri,
do you have a close up picture of how you mounted those shocks to your swingarm? Are those ZRX KYB shocks?

Yes, they are ZRX KYB shocks. ZRX1100 to be exact. ZRX 1200 shocks are longer.

The shocks are not mounted yet. I had to get the swingarm mounted into the frame before I could make all my measurements to determine the placement of the shocks. So...... It's not done yet.

I have some 1/4" plate aluminum that I will be using for the shock mounts. And, I will be removing some of the bracing to clear the shock.

Have most of the parts now. Just need some warmer weather.

That's my 1150 head I just got back from the machine shop. I had 29.5 intake valves installed, blending and a VJ too. I'm hoping that will give me .10 on the slip.

The gixxer head is still in the corner, waiting on PayPal to say something. It may be going back to it's real owner soon... I hope??
