Yes it's being worked on again... But I'm having drivability issues. It runs great... Up to 6,000 rpm and then it's like the revs and power just stop. Sighs.

It appears it's the carburetor rubber plugs. Details to follow.

Ok guys after a very long hiatus and restoration that started in 2008... The bike is running well. With the jet kits installed the bike runs like a scalded cat. Today I'm bolting on some more NOS parts. Details to follow.

I put 60 miles on the bike today. It runs good. I am just getting reacquainted with it. So after the shake down there is still more to do...

Side stand safety switch so that damned light will turn off on dash
          Install NOS Tachometer
          Install NOS Gauge Bucket Chrome
Install Right rear footpeg (which I seem to have misplaced)
          Install Horn (also misplaced...)
          Replace rear shocks
Replace Headlight bulb (annoyingly the low beam has burned out)
And change a bunch of fasteners with brand new ones that I squandered hundreds of dollars over the years...

I wish I could say I was satisfied and done but not quite yet. Here's where we stand for now...

New old stock tach installed and chrome buckets. Still chasing my OCD.

Front valve stem is leaking... Sighs. Also time to do all the fluids and fix the annoying side stand safety switch light (the red light is on constantly). Last two things will be the K&N filter, new spark plugs and a horn.

I don't understand. What is a front valve stem? Do you mean tyre valve?

I'm still going back on forth on selling it. If it doesn't sell I'm not going to be heart broken. The thing is I've hardly ridden it since finishing it. Oh and the tire valve stem? That became an 8 hour ordeal to have the dealer replace.image.jpg
