I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Has anyone here bought or otherwise personally seen one of tgese seats? Im contemplating if i should get gutsy and order one.

Pretty sure we used to have a "non ebay" hook up to the manufacturer of those seats... Maybe those were from Thailand though. I forget! A bit of searching here on the forum should find you the old info on it... :)

Youre thinking of repop covers from pit replica maybe?? Thing is the seat was literally rotted off tge bike when i got it.

That ebay add says Brand isTexavina, I punched in Texavina motorcycle seats in viet nam, and it popped right up. I don't know how to do links. Good luck

This little chunk of rust was all that was left of the seat pan....

I dont have a foam either Steve. I dont care if i can get a flat or stepped seat. Heck even a good pan and foam would do. can always get a pit replica cover

I thought, by the pictures I saw, they looked pretty dang good, even have both for standard and "E" models and hand rail available if needed. It's amazing how many folks looking for some of these older bike seats, and nobody around here has ever tried one of them... Chuck, here's your chance, you can find out for yourself plus for all the GSR folks if these are a legit option. ..Come on Chuck, we'd hate to see you miss this huge opportunity !!

Actually looks too good to be true, it says... This is a complete seat with cover, foam, and seat pan. Mat pan: metal and powder coated with black paint, same dimensions as stock seat. direct fit without any modifications

I like it on my GS1100GL. Not the most comfortable but I can ride 150 or so miles without problems. The seat is very well made and fit perfect. I was very surprised.

Just to be sure, you're saying that is one of the Texavina seats from Viet Nam on that bike?? Also, Looks like you're spending a lot of time rubbing on that thing. Looks like it aint been long since it came off the show room floor.

I got a repro seat for my '73 CB750 for about 200$, really nice - I had the old pan to compare it to and it looked exact. It was from 4into1. Prices up a bit to 249 but think this is the same one, and it's from Vietnam. Honestly it fell into the 'too good to be true' category, since my pan was rusted and seat totally shot. A bargain. Maybe same manufacturer makes for Suzuki but hard to find that out.

The pan on my seat is a welded pan using several pieces of steel but they did a fantastic job. Fits perfect. Its not a stamped pan as most stock pans are.
