DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Friday afternoon safety meeting.

The weed laws are a bit of a problem. I'm afraid to move in case I end up living next a weeder and am stuck with the stench wafting over all the time. BBQ's I can deal with but not that. I don't care if someone smokes it, I just don't want to have to smell it.

Lol....I don't think that would be a real issue...I smell it once in while here...no biggie....and I know one thing, I'd rather live beside a stoner than a drunk.

Had a special Safety Meeting yesterday....I brought in lots of food and booze for the occasion to celebrate my insurance case being over....my buddies were very supportive during my recovery and this was a way to thank them for that. Free food and booze is always a good hook with my buddies....lol

And we had a special guest Bevan Gore-Langdon a friend of mine with an amazing collection of over 30 bikes including a 1914 Indian and a 1938 Brough Superior. He's 87 years old and he played the piano for a living....some years ago while shopping for vinyl I found one of his albums and purchased it...and I got him to sign it. :) I love this man...he has so many stories and I could listen to him all night. Love going over to his house too.
What a fantastic night!

With Bevan is my friend John....he too is a bike collector with of 40 motorcycles in his collection lots of British stuff.....he's a retired pilot.

It was a dry day but a little cool but I have some hardcore riding buddies....

Kevin on his awesome 82 1100e

And of course Oreo was there looking for treats as always

My buddy Todd's cool ride, although I like is 1978 Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am ,,,,Todd owns a commercial sandblasting business and a motorcycle rental business, he's Ukrainian and does amazing work in the community since the war started and I was able to donate to his cause last night. He's been feeding refugees at the Ukrainian club. Good man

The one jarring note is what appears to be Carl Fogarty on the telly in the background.

Where I grew up in Ontario the "garage get together" was a big thing.....but as guys get older and start families they don't happen so often.
I have made it a priority to do this every Friday, to offer a meeting place for the like minded.
Many of the guys tell me on a regular basis that they look forward to it all week and that it is important to them....they are very appreciative.

I send out a group text every Friday morning letting everyone know the safety meeting is on and what special theme or guests there will be....my routine every Friday is to spend at least a couple of hours getting the garage cleaned and in order. I also supply snacks....the four bottles of Kacken on the bar were brought by guys last week when in my group text I said we were "out of Kracken if anyone was so inclined". Lol..
The opposite of addiction is connection. :)

That is awesome! You're in the middle of a forest of blessings. Standing on the outside, I can tell you that your forest is great. ;)

Thanks, and trust me it's not lost on me....we are very fortunate. If you ever make it to the island you are more than welcome here....that goes for anyone on the forum. Hot meal and a beverage at the ready. :)

Lol...I didn't even know the guy. He brought his son over to buy an Acura from my son....he stayed around for a bit because he knew one of my buddies...then he did a burnout in the Cul de sac when he left...not sure how I feel about that...lol
