I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Friday afternoon safety meeting.

I noticed the track decals on the VW Scirocco, but the Ridge decal is backwards & I see Laguna Seca next to it, but don't recognize the other tracks.

Back in 1986 my roommate & I drove a VW Dasher to Sunshine Village Alberta full of Sims Hi-bak snowboard bindings for the North American Snowboard Championship.

VW Dasher!!! Had one too. Man I hated that car. Couple of years after I gave to somebody I was doing some IT work down in our industrial park and watch a car crusher have it's way with it. That was a great day. LOL.

Ha! Regardless it got us into the Canadian Provinces & we got to drink Molson & Labatts, before Micro brews showed up.
Don't really drink beer anymore, but the higher octane at the time was special. What was the hate all about?

Mostly flaky wiring and melted contacts in the fuse panel. It was a bit of a beater though.

Re last week's meeting:

That H2 Mach IV (Kaw 750) is a MAN'S bike. It could use a few 'safety' meetings!

I like those three teen boys hovering in the distance. Remember when we were them?

My buddy Bruce had a '75 after they got a bit slower. I had a Z1. Mine was slightly quicker, but his was TERRIFYING to ride! The wobbles, flimsy feeling, and the front wheel came up at 4000 in at least the first 3 gears. He still has it, and he is still alive.

It's getting cooler so yesterday's safety meeting was held with the garage door closed...my buddy Andy seems to bring a different car every time he comes here...lol
20 people today and 22 last Friday...many of the guys tell me they look very forward to every Friday... :)

Oreo was tuckered out from all the treats....

Anyone remember "Maximus Super"? (Double strength beer in upstate NY in the '70's). :triumphant:

There's a blast from the past. Remember being at Lebanon Valley Dragway near Albany probably 20? years ago and swapping some awful Labatts for some of that high octane beer.

Now...back to Fridays.

Hang on. The door is closed!?? What's the deal? Are you experiencing actual weather? NOOOO....

Nice group............
.
.

Lol....yeah it cools down late afternoon....it was around 10 or 50 degrees....but damp

THanks for pics. I am alway impressed at your weekly gatherings.
If I were to show these pics to someone and describe that is a group of your motorcycle friends visiting. I would have to explain, no, those are not his friends bikes, those are all his.

50 (degF) and damp.
Maybe too bad to step outside for pics of visitor vehicals.

Fun Friday afternoon safety meeting...21 guys including 7 riders...and my buddy on his new Guzzi

My mother in law...lol

I love the Moto-Guzzi. I considered buying one, but I thought the closest dealership was to far away...
The gentleman is looking pretty dapper with the green sleeves and Guzzi shirt. His wife dresses him well! Make sure you tell him I said that! haha

I want to go to one of these Friday Safety Meetings sometime. I can't make it this year, my riding is about all booked up.
2025 I'd be up for a west coast adventure. We'll see.
