    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted.   • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Well the only thing negative I have heard so far as the kids will be going to school in the dark for a couple of months....leading people to say kids should be starting an hour later anyway as studies have shown kids learn better starting later in the morning ...
 
We had no Daylight savings time from sometime in the mid 1940's till 1966 and best I can remember all was well. The U.S restarted it in 1966 and continuously most people I know have complained, twice pr. yr. about the having to change again. Most every yr. there is talk for a couple of weeks, around the changes, to quit it again, but then not mentioned again till the change once again is here. Not sure if our govt. will ever repeal DST again, but if ever put to a vote from our citizens, I feel pretty sure it would again be repealed.

I've been hearing that same argument since I was a little kid . You're right . Just change school hours from 9-3 to 10-4 .... Easy and it will make significant savings in energy costs ......

finally read link in orig post... Are we having another controversy? It says B.C. is permanently adopting DST, Premier David Eby announced Monday. Then says that U.S. President Donald Trump expressed interest in eliminating DST. Permanently adopting or eliminating, I probably wouldn't care which, long as we stop changing twice pr. yr. Please let us decide one way or the other.

I prefer motorcycles that don't have clocks on them. That’s my opinion and it aught to be yours. :semi-twins:

The western states have been talking about this after we started the conservation several years ago so after waiting and waiting we decided to just do it. Hopefully they'll follow our lead. Alberta, the province next to us is now considering no longer moving their clocks back and forth as well.

Yes, the message before was..."let's see what our biggest trading partner does first..." Well Eby is done with the US so this was his jab imo. Works for me :)
