I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Honda R/R kit please? 1980 GS550L Just want to change out the existing before problems start and cook the stator.

    Thx
Duane, I haven't heard back from you. I think I need to buy another RR from you. At idle its reading 15.6v. That's too high isn't. I wired the one you sent me wrong. Also can you clarify if the green ground goes to the neg batt. post or to the plate holding the RR. Black wire doesn't go to the battery at all? I'm just trying to confirm I wired it right. Thanks, Carter
Duaneage, I went for a test ride yesturday and had a bit of a problem. My gel battery blew its top after 65 miles of riding. I put a different battery in right now and its reading 16V at idle. Thats too high no? I've got three yellows to stator, green to frame black to negative battery post, pig tail off black to frame, red to positive battery post. Is this correct mounting? Thanks for a response, Carter

    Duaneage,

The previous owner of my bike made a home built R/R that I am afraid to trust for much longer. If it makes a difference I have a '79 GS750E. Thanks!

    Duaneage,

Do you happen to have a R/R that will work with a 1978 GS750E? If so, what is the process for paying you and getting it shipped?

    Thanks,

    Good Morning
I have an 83 GS1100G that has a battery which runs dry due to over charging.
The stator puts out around 80V and the resistance between the leads on the r/r is 12 ohms.
I assume the r/r is gone.
When I rev the bike the voltage at the battery is about 17v.
    1-Does the r/r from a 79 gs850 fit the 83 GS1100?
2-What is the cost to buy a unit from you for the 83 GS1100G?
It would be shipped to Lewiston NY 14092.
You can email me at pfedyczko@ceccontrols.com

Hi Duaneage. I just went to a friends shop to see if my bike was charging, but it is not. I still have not checked the charging system (I took my voltmeter to be fixed, It got lost , and is the guy who was supposed to fix it :0((( ) I will check the wirings today, and see if everything is connected, but I suspect it is the system itself. I have a 1980 gs 850 g. How much is your R/R??? and who long would it take???

    Thanks,

    Nico
