A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    Bike Of The Month Submissions

Great looking bike, Exactly what goes in BOTM, bur personally I never liked black bikes... The GS1150 "E" in Candy Alpine Blue & Pearl Cool White would look way better, the best looking GS Suzuki ever produced... Though not near the most comfy to ride.

Hanging Idle (I know, but bear with me) and different carbs

Just me, I'd wait for a couple of suggestions... Also running on PRI. will have absolutely nothing to do with float height. I'd think if you try it a few times and it constantly does good on PRI., and messes up when on ON, I'd think problem will be with petcock or vacuum getting to petcock.

Tire Mounting/Balancing Service... Thoughts and Opinions.

I've not wanted to try the liquid stuff, just thinking what kind of mess it would be when changing tire... "Beads make a godawful mess when you break the bead"??? I've not seen that, the beads, for me, are usually laying in the inside of the sidewall with no way to get out, unless I pull the...

Tire Mounting/Balancing Service... Thoughts and Opinions.

All seems reasonable, folks not having problems with them & like them, use them. Folks that are having trouble with them & don't like them don't use them... I promise if, or when, they start causing vibrations or problems for me, I'll sure quit using them too.

Hanging Idle (I know, but bear with me) and different carbs

Hope I wasn't wrong say'in if needs some choke to keep idling when warmed up, increasing the idle adjustment knob may possibly help or correct problem.
  18. R

Hanging Idle (I know, but bear with me) and different carbs

Until bike is warmed up, the choke regulates the idle. When bike completely warmed up the idle adjustment screw (knob) controls the idle, with choke completely off.. When completely warm, can you turn the idle adjustment "in" enough to keep it idling with choke completely off?
