    Front brake pad replacements

I replaced the bleed screws, but I didn't see any improvement. It brakes perfectly, but the brake lever sometimes feels loose. I think it's due to the seal, and given the rust on the cylinders, I think it could be their fault. Thanks for the tips!

    Continued Hard Starting Woes

I'll try to give my little contribution, since the carburetors of my 1000G were in bad shape and I managed to put everything back as it should be. After a season under the cover and without removing fuel or anything else, two laps and it started. When cold it suffers a bit, then after 10 minutes...

    Front brake pad replacements

yes the calipers have been overhauled, but I remember sanding the pistons, with little success, due to some stains with loss of material, probably being stationary for a long time, during the rest phase the pistons lost the necessary shine for the seal, even the seat of the gasket on the alloy...

    Front brake pad replacements

I ordered the bleed valves, yesterday I take a ride after checking everything and the situation does not change, the first pump does not go up to pressure, then it goes great as it should, it is as if at rest it loses the vacuum. Things could be different, or it takes air from some gasket...

    Front brake pad replacements

wow thanks! it would be a turning point, because anyway with the thickness, the first pumping is slow. I will try as you suggest with a bit of teflon in the thread. I also noticed the liquid container more swollen, not exactly perfectly aligned with the lid and its seat. I don't know if it could...

    Front brake pad replacements

thanks for the advice, it should be this one, but I see the lateral tube attachment instead of the front one and I need to understand if the tube arrives without impediments, another thing to check is the stop switch.

    Front brake pad replacements

Hi, I've bled at least 10 times and the last 5 without seeing a small bubble. Maybe it stops in other areas and not on the calipers? I think it doesn't stay under pressure and it takes air from somewhere. It's just the first pump that the lever goes down too much, then it gets better

    Front brake pad replacements

Dismantled the whole system, cleaned the pump again, it is not in good condition, but it seems impossible to find, perhaps the one from the 550 could be adapted. Seals and spring already replaced a few months ago. The oil has small black streaks, certainly material that comes from the original...

    Front brake pad replacements

Thanks for your advice, I cleaned and replaced everything, there were some corrosion spots on the piston, I passed a bit of 1000 grit paper but I didn't give it too much importance, the damage wasn't important, the pump had a lot of grains but he was eliminated, cleaned and new gaskets. I'll...

    GS100G clutch

Yeah yeah, of course, I should probably have a few sessions with a psychologist, haha. Thanks for the clarification, I was hoping I didn’t have any little pieces lying around.

    GS100G clutch

convinced it should be inserted into the hole of pin 23 which in reality is not as illustrated but with a second pin, inside that hole Thank you

    GS100G clutch

the description says saddle, it must be something that acts as a stop and prevents the rack pin from retracting and rubbing against the n10 nut, I'm just trying to imagine, having only seen it once

    GS100G clutch

I don't know if I should be worried or it was just a bad dream, when I disassembled the clutch, inside the rack shaft, where the thrust bearing is located, there was a small pin in place inside. I am convinced that I saw it and put it back in its place, yet the second time I disassembled the...

    GS100G clutch

the reinforced springs lasted the time of one outing, then removed too hard for me! returned with OEM springs and the difference is really noticeable, now it's really perfect!

    Front brake pad replacements

with the change of organic EBC pads, the braking and the play of the lever seem to have improved but not yet perfect, surely with the braided hoses it could improve even more, but maybe I want to expect too much from this braking system

    Front brake pad replacements

Thanks for the tip, great site and well stocked, certainly for me between duties and shipping it's not cheap!, in the end I took these which should be organic anyway, hoping they are better than the carbon ceramic ones, an old Ferodo model

    GS100G clutch

NO in fact I would never do it! and I don't think it's something I could recommend. I always go with OEM spare parts if available, first because whoever designed them even if 50 years ago, wasn't an idiot on the contrary, secondly they were specifically designed and optimized for this bike and...

    GS100G clutch

nice day and I take a ride of about 40 Mi to understand how the clutch is going. The springs as I imagined make the lever too hard, almost painful if used with two fingers. I will take the original ones, as always with OEM spare parts you can't go wrong. When I pull the lever and as soon as the...
