A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

1395 is completed.... Track time completed

Everthing is back together and she started right up. The only thing that comes to mind is maybe some real carbs one day, but until then I'll ride the pi$$ out of it.

All that's left to do is take her to the track.

I got mine running today as well. Sounds good.
I'm sure the neighbors liked it.
Probably wont get to the track for a couple weeks.
I'm interested to see what you get out of the head

I'll let you know on Saturday how it goes.

As for the neighbors I just stick my tennis shoe in the pipe, does a good job for 60 seconds then I have a neat black circle on my shoe.

And as for your bike.... looking sharp as always.

O-kay I got 11 runs in tonight and all I got to say is I like the 1150 head over the 1100 head. The first thing I notice was my bike's slick was spinning more at launch so i drop my launch from 6K to 5K and ran a 6.16 at 109.89 mph. I almost met my goal of breaking into 110 mph :D

RT's, three were 0.502's, one was 0.505 and the rest were 0.523 or better.

Then the next run was 6.19, after that the bike was getting hot so i just ran a bunch of 6.20's. I even had a 1.40 60 ft and a few 330's where in the high 3.90's. So all in all it was a good night and the air wasn't that great so it can only get better.

So I think the 1150 head has picked me up a tenth maybe 2 with a little more tuning on it. I haven't degree the cams or changed the jetting yet. I was running a 14f and 44r sprockets and will be going to a 46r just to see what happens.

The only problem was the valve cover bolts would keep getting loose after a few runs. I also think it's time for a longer swing arm cause the bike like's to ride on the bars more than ever now.

With a light rider I know my bike can get into the 5's but since I weigh 230 pounds it might just be a good reason to go on a diet.
