Hi everyone
Im trying to fix a leak issue with my 79 suzuki gs850g from left brake caliper.
The brakes were refreshed recently but the seals were not replaced.
Shortly afterwards the caliper was leaking.
I purchased a new caliper piston and seal kit (I needed to order aftermarket from England, suzuki no longer makes the piston for the 1979 model N.)
The new piston and seal kit is from "Rhino" and included the stainless steel piston, pressure seal, and a dust boot seal.
The pressure seal went on easily. No issues.
The dust boot that goes over the piston does not seem to want to go on the metal "lip".
the OLD dust boot goes on easy.
would it be major issue to use the old dust boot ?
Thanks
sean
